The Digital Filipino through Ms Janette Toral, invites you to the August 1, 2007 Bloggers Eyeball.

First, many thanks to those who submitted entries to the Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs writing project. Let us meet up on August 1 and get to know each other!

The August 1 gathering will be at Max Restaurant, Park Square 1, Makati City from 6 pm to 9 pm. Please confirm your attendance by posting a comment here. (If you have a friend or relative that you want to tag along, please make sure that they join the writing project as well. )

We will be drawing the 10 winners on this day who will get US$100 each. Of course, those who can’t make it are still part of the draw and can win.

This is now your chance to promote your blog to fellow bloggers by meeting them in person. But of course you need to do the few things like the ones listed below to successfully market your blog with them.

1. Don’t be shy. If no one will go near to you, then make the first step.
2. Talk with them. I am sure there are lot of things that you can talk about. But talking about their blogs, I think is the best topic.
3. When introducing your self to them, make sure to mention your blog. This is what Mike Abundo did during the first Blogger Summit during the summer of 2005.
4. List down their blogs and publish a post with links to their blogs. I’m sure, after reading your post, they’ll also link your blog to their own post.
5. Bring your digital camera and take photos with the. Post the photos into your blog and let them know about it. This is one of the best link baiting technique.

And then, let me know about your experiences during the eyeball, so that I can give you some lovelinks from this blog.
