You Comment and I will Follow Your Links
Didn’t I tell you that this blog is already giving away links to those who will comment here?
Yes! This blog is already a “Do Follow” blog for almost 3 days already. I am still studying how it works and how spammers will abuse it.
You Comment and I Follow
Just like what I said on my previous post installing the “Do Follow”‘ Wordpress plugin is like calling every blogger to visit us here and drop their comments about the post I wrote. At least your effort, time and idea spent as you comment will not be wasted because search engines will now follow your URL and the links on your comments.
Comment Policies
However, other SEO and bloggers will abuse the “DO Follow” feature that I opened on this blog. So, in order to avoid any abuse, I formulated new comment policies on this blog.
The Do’s:
- You should fill up the “Name Field” with the legitimate name. When I say legitimate name, I mean your real name, your nick name, or the title of your blog.
- On the “URL Field” fill it up with the URL of your blog or the URL of a post on your blog. The URL you input should be related to the name or title you input at the “Name Field” as stated in number 1.
- You comment should be relevant to the post you are commenting.
The Don’t’s
- Don’t use any target keywords as your name.
- No PORN sites
- No GAMBLING sites
- No Spammy sites
- No spammy comments. “Nice Site” and similar spammy comments will be deleted or be marked as spam.
Misc.
- You can include links on your comment but will be deleted if it links back to unacceptable sites.
Tip in Commenting
I already gave you some of the tip on how take advantage of the “Do Follow” blogs on my yesterday’s post. And I want to tell you this 1 tip as an additional tips to the ones I already gave you.
- On the “URL Field” of the comment section, input the URL of your blog or the URL of a post of your blog. Don’t use the redirect URL of the Alexa because if you do, then it will be Alexa who will enjoy the “Do Followed” link and not your blog or the post of your blog.
By regularly commenting into this blog means Google and other search engines will regularly index your blog or sites through the links or URLs you published on your comments.
So, enjoy commenting!

First, Thank You for being a do follow site. When I post a comment it is nice to have a link back, but not just for SEO. Giving the blog owner a way to see my work or contact me is important. I often network with other blogger that I met by commenting on their blog.
BeachBum
As BeachBum said, thanks for going dofollow. I’ve considered doing so on my blog but I’m worried about the extra time spent in moderating. Have you found yourself having to do more digging or allowing fewer comments since you went dofollow? How has the level of spam responded (more, less, or the same)?
Lastly, I think there are a few lists of do follow sites floating around, you might want to look around and submit your site. Would be a good way to get a free link.
geez, i didn’t know it can be exploited by spammer? Buti nalang naka moderate din mga comments ko.
Thanks for this tip (again)
Eli >>> if you really want to gain links from “Do Follow” blogs, maybe you can directly input your blog’s URL without the Alexa Redirect URL.
this is really helpful specially to those blogs who are just atarting to make waves in the blog-o-sphere. Thanks!
Hey Selaplana!
Thanks for the open linking soul! I am in as well (just installed a plugin into my wordpress)!

Great Blog Love it.

It’s amusing to me that people have blatantly disregarded your instructions. Alas!
There are a lot of great things about do-follow, but it can be such a hassle when people are commenting just to get their SEO up.
Although I haven’t checked your previous post on how to take advantage of Do Follow blogs, I find the additional tip helpful. It is good that you have a policy here. Nobody wants to be spammed anyway.
wow a do follow thanks and more power
