I received an email from the PinoyBlogosphere moderator inviting me to participate the Wika2007 Writing Contest. Winners will received prizes like:

Below is the email:

“Marhay na aldaw saindo gabos, Maayong adlaw sa imong tanan, Naimbag nga aldaw kadakayo amin, magandang araw sa inyong lahat!” (Good day to all!)
Ilan lamang ito sa mga salin ng mga pagbati na meron sa ating bansa… Puno man tayo ng iba’t-ibang dayalekto, marami tayong pwedeng ipagmalaki sa kulturang Pinoy. Bilang paggunita sa darating na Buwan ng Wika, ang Pinoy Blogosphere ay magsasagawa ng isang patimpalak sa pagsulat hango sa usaping: “Maraming Wika, Matatag na Bansa”. (The above greetings are few of the translations of our own greetings. We are divided by different dialects but lots of things from our culture that we can be proud of. On this coming month of our Language, the Pinoy  Blogosphere will organize a writing contest on “More Dialects, Strong Nation.”)

Higit na malakas ang impluwensya ng Internet sa kultura natin ngayon. Dahil dito, makakapagpatibay ng pagmamahal natin sa Wika ang pag-blog tungkol dito. Bukod do’n, pati na rin ang buong mundo ay mamamangha sa Filipino. Ang Wika 2007 Blog Writing Contest ay isang proyekto na sinimulan para ipagyabang ang kagandahan at katatagan ng wikang Pinoy. (The internet is more influential to our culture now. Blogging about it will enhance our love to our language and will even make the world wonder. Let us be proud of the beauty and strength of our language through the Wika 2007 Blog Writing contest.)
