I finally released the version 2 of my SEL-Clean WordPress theme, and it is now used by my new blog on Naruto Shippuuden.

As you can see on the screenshot below, the SEL-Clean V2 is almost similar to the SEL-Clean v1. The SEL-Clean v1 is the WordPress theme used by this blog.

The only difference are the header image and the color designs of every section of the blog. I designed it in a way that the Adsense Ads will interest our blog’s readers, especially that Naruto Shippuuden fans are not really interested with the ads around the blog, but on the stories posted on the blog.

I started creating it last July 1, 2007 and finished it after 2 days. However, I didn’t have time to implement the new theme into the Naruto Shippuuden Fan blog because I was on my family-related travel to Cebu and other part of Visayas. I only got the chance to fully apply the theme into the blog just yesterday.

About the Naruto Shippuuden Fan blog

The Naruto Shippuuden Fan blog is the blog that hosts my blogposts that are related to the Naruto Anime series. It is the realization of segregating my posts about Naruto from my main blog which is now focusing on lessons in blogging, making money online, SEO and behavior development.

I started publishing posts at this blog last June 2007. And in just 2 months, the blog already receive an average of 400 unique daily visitors.

As of writing this post, Google has indexed 90 pages of the blog. I couldn’t tell how it is ranked by Alexa because I am only using the subdomain. So what is reported by the Alexa is the ranking of the main URL which is the “selaplana.com“.

The Naruto Shippuuden Fan blog is quite successful in distributing its feed. Currently, there are more or less 60 readers are subscribing our feed. The Pinoy Top Blogs ranking site ranks the blog as the number 59th.

Prior to the implementation of the SEL-Clean v2 WordPress theme into the blog, the blog is already earning an average of 25 cents a day through the Adsense ads. I still don’t know if the CTR of the Adsense ads will increase as it is already using the new SEL-Clean v2 WordPress theme.

If you feel hard to memorize the URL of this blog which is “www.narutoshippuudenfan.com” then you can use the parked domain, “narutoshippudenfan.com“.  The parked domain is much easier to memorize than the real URL of the blog.

My Goal on this blog

The Naruto Shippuuden fan blog is definitely an entertainment blog. Since it’s about entertainment then I will be expecting that its niche has thousands if not millions of readers compared to the niche of the SELaplana blog.

So, my goal for this coming December 2007, is that this blog will reach the 10,000 unique visitors a day and will earn up to $100 a day not from the ads but from affiliates.

My focus now will be on marketing the blog and on affiliates as a way of monetizing the blog.

New Writing Skill To Learn

In just 2 months of blogging at the new Naruto Shippuuden fan blog, I already gained another skill in writing blogposts. And this time is on telling stories and reading the hidden ideas within the Naruto Shippuuden anime story.  You can try reading few of my posts:
