Don’t you know that there are many disadvantage in taking the Paid Review program offered by ReviewMe, PayPerPost and other similar third party ad services?
Yes! And these advantages are the reasons why I am not serious in making money online by accepting paid review jobs. Pearl King who blogs at the “Got Chance - Geek’s blog” mentioned 4 reasons to avoid paid reviews:
- Some of the Paid-Review bloggers became greedy. After earning few Dollars in paid reviews, most of the bloggers engaged with this business tend to get more paid-review jobs for them to earn more Dollars.
- Lost Creativity. I actually don’t agree on this at all the time but in some bloggers, this is true. Pearl said, “Once you start receiving a number of reviews, you start depending on it for content. So, gradually you lose Creativity. Less creativity ultimately means less visitors.“
- Writing paid-reviews especially those that contains disclosure about the deal will surely drive your visitors away from your blog. However, you can avoid this if you will acquire the talent, style and skills that John Chow and Kumiko have in writing paid-reviews.
- I already told you before that Google hates paid links. If your blog contains tons of paid links and Google successfully tracked you, then most likely your blog will be penalized by Google.
If you really want to earn more money from your blog then do the following:
- Don’t focus on paid links served by third party ad services.
- If you can get direct advertisers, then do it. Remember that you’ll earn much when you’re dealing with direct advertisers than using brokers.
- And of course, you can use other advertising scheme for your blog, but make sure that those ads will never annoy your visitors.
