Make Your Blog-Posts Better

You already know that I am not a writing expert nor a graduate of journalism course or any BS in language and communication. Some of the Filipino bloggers even called me “Dumb Blogger“, “Idiot Pinoy Blogger“, etc.. However, the lessons I learned from the articles I read and from my blogging experience itself are the reasons why I successfully composed articles or blogposts for this blog.

Some of the new bloggers consider me their inspiration (I wonder if you are one of them). But my writing skills is very much far compared to the writing styles and skills of Darren Rowse, John Chow and Steve Pavlina.

Now, like me, you might have bad writings compared to other bloggers, but don’t be discouraged by that truth. Learn from those good blog-writers and apply the lessons you’ve learned into your own writing until you successfully improved it and made it better compared to your old ones.

So, to help improve your skills in blog-writing, let’s consider the points or tips given by GMTristan on how to make a better post.

  1. Make sure that the topic of your blog-posts are related to your niche. If your blog is about Naruto, then post articles on your blog that are related to the Naruto Shippuuden story. If you blog is about making money online, then make sure that your blog-posts are related to making money online. Posting unrelated articles usually push your readers away from your blog.
  2. It might be better to write a very long post with more than 1000 words with it, but it will be best if the length of your blog-posts will be from 400 to 500 words.
  3. Make the title of your post more interesting.
  4. Be honest. You can portray someone while you blog but it will be better if you show your real personality in your blog-posts.
  5. Don’t forget to promote your old posts to your readers. Your new readers missed to read your old posts and you need to help them find those posts by linking them from your new blogposts.
  6. Inspire your readers to comment into your post by asking them to interact with you.

However, if you have more ideas on how to make your post better, please free to comment.
