I already mentioned the ways I used in making my readers interact with us by commenting into our blogposts like: Giving links to top commentators, commenting into the posts of the other blogs, installing up the SezWho Wordpress Plugin, and by following the links on the comments.
I am quite successful in letting few of the readers to comment our posts but I am not yet contented with it. I really want 50% of my 1,000 unique visitors to comment on my posts. So, I need to find more ways to succeed on this. Maybe I will consider applying the Evil Ways that John Chow has suggested.
(1) Let’s Organize a Comment Group.
I am actually commenting to the blog of those who comment on my posts. It’s a way of thanking them for commenting into my posts.
However, we can make it more interesting by organizing a group of which all members agree to comment to each others’ blogs. With this, we don’t only get comments but hits or traffic too.
If you’re interested of joining, please feel free to let me know by commenting.
(2) Buy Comments
Buying comments is again pioneered by John Chow. Other bloggers are now doing the same way after learning that this technique is a good way in gaining more commentators.
This can actually be done by launching a contest wherein commentators are the participants. You let your readers comment into your posts if they want to participate your contest and then draw the winners from them.
(3) Be Your Own Commentator
I already learned this tip from John Chow several months ago. Kumiko applied it also at her Cash Quest blog. However, I failed to employ this technique into my blog because it goes against my will.
(4) Use the name of popular bloggers in commenting
Again, these four tips are John Chow’s evil ways in gaining more comments. And among these 4 tips, this 4th one is the most evil of all. I think, you need to be careful on doing this.
Try them
Remember that commentators make your blog look more alive, and the comments add up relevant content into your post. So, if your posts don’t have comments, then why don’t try these evil ways that John Chow has suggested.

I’m thinking that the first one would work best if you already have an active blog group… kinda what i got for being subdomain hosted. i gained a lot of new blogmates just within the domain that i am in..
