I am new to blogging. I already noticed the term “blog” before at my Friendster account but I wasn’t just interested about it. I became interested in blogging after learning that you are already earning money by just blogging. I also read your post on how to create a blog and already created a blog at the WordPress.Com. The blog is already at its 3 days of existence but I still don’t have ideas on what to blog. Can you please give me hint what to write for my blog?

Okay. Thank you so much for considering me and my posts as your inspiration to start blogging.

Before I answer your request, I want to tell you first that you can’t earn money by blogging if you are using the free hosted blogs of WordPress.Com. The best thing to do to start a blog that will let you earn money after some times is to buy your own domain and hosting account.

Of course, you can start blogging at the free hosted blogs. The Blogger.Com allows its bloggers to earn from their blogs through any making money online schemes. But your earning will not be as much as when blogging at your own hosted blogs.

Things To Blog

There are actually many things that you can blog about. You can blog about:

1. Your daily activities
2. Your daily experience with your wife, your children, your girlfriend/boyfriend, friends, boss etc..
3. Your work, job, or projects

If you don’t want to write about your personal life, then why not write about the life of others. You can blog about:

1. Their qualities and characteristics
2. Their success and failures
3. Their achievements
4. Their experiences to anything

However, when writing about other people, make sure not to attack them or write something that will touch their pride to avoid lawsuit.

You can even blog about current events. Just listen to your radio, watch TV or check for the latest news on the web by visiting Google News, Yahoo News, or by checking the blogs you know out there.

You can even blog by sharing the knowledge you have. You can write tips and tricks and how-to articles. For example, if you have knowledge on how to unlock cellphones, customize cellphones, compose ringtones and how to destroy cellphones, then why not write about them. Tell your visitors and would be visitors about these things.

You can even join the discussion on the blogosphere. For example, this week’s hot topic is about Loren Legarda’s move against Mark Verzo of Boy Bastos blog. Lot of bloggers are talking about it like:

3. Boy Bastos – What is Politics?

To join the discussion, describe first what happened and then add your comment about it. That’s it…. Simple as that.

You might ask me how I found those posts. Actually, we don’t have yet a site that features hot issues in the blogosphere. However, we have the Techmeme for you to check for the hot issues in the Western blogosphere about Technology. We even have the Technorati.

After learning these things, are you still wondering what to write? If so, then do this: Read my daily post. I am publishing my thoughts daily at around 1:00PM (Philippine Time). After reading my post, write something about my posts and post your writing at your blog. Since you are still new to blogging, then why not blog like that. After a month or two, maybe you can now blog about something easily.
