If you really are eager to gain more subscribers then you’ll really gain it. That’s what I realized while scanning the “Be Your Own Boss blog” of Yuwoncedric.

Last September 27, 2007, he revealed that he only had 99 subscribers. Since Deric or Yuwoncedric is very much interested in increasing the number of his Feed Subscribers, he employed a simple trick on his post. That is by telling his visitors that there would be tons of exciting events that would happen on this month of October.

Wow, it seems that I have a lot of things to do and I started late, my bad. So, there you have it. If you want to add something just leave a comment or send me an e-mail and for those who are new here, you first time visitors! you’re at the right place. I urge you to subscribe because a lot of exciting things will be happening this Octoberfest.

And as of writing this post, Yuwoncedric blog has 1,007 subscribers already.

Well, his achievement is really amazing. Remember that his blog started a 0 (zero) subscribers on the month of September and in just few weeks of hard work, the blog gets thousands of subscribers.

But what really is the trick that he used in gaining more subscribers?

Yuwoncedric is new to blogging. But by just reading the blog of John Chow, he immediately learned the things behind blogging, SEO and making money online. And not only that, he also learned evil ways of gaining popularity of his blog.

Well, the trick he used in gaining more subscribers is not really evil, but it’s effective.

To let you know, it’s October 11, 2007 when I wrote this post, and our blog already has 1,593 subscribers as shown on the image below:

The increase of the number of my blog’s feed subscribers is really amazing. Consider looking at the graph below:

From this 1,593 subscribers, 1,425 are subscribers via the email (as shown on the graph below) which really means that the trick (similar to Yuwoncedric’s way of gaining subscribers) that I employed on this blog is quite successful.
