Dexter of the Tech at Hand just recently learned that establishing trackbacks from a well-traffic blogpost to your own related blogpost can really gain more traffic for your blog.

To understand what really happened, consider this:

Last September 16, 2007, I published a post about the boxing bout of Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Marco Antonio Barrera that would be held on October 6, 2007. And on this same post, I gave tips to blogger on how to take advantage of this event and eventually gain traffic, form a community, and gain money.

I am not really sure if Dexter read my post before he posted his. But let’s just consider that his post about the boxing bout is his response to the tips he read on my post. Then he established a link to my post and in response to this, my post publish a trackback link to his post.

As my post continue to gain traffic from the search engines, Dexter’s post gained a share of it. Dexter revealed:

… Then after my investigation , I just found out that I have made a trackback on his highly Optimized post as shown below at his post regarding ” Pacquaio vs Barrera : The Will to Win and to Earn “. and it was my advantage that there are only two comments on this post …

And Dexter became the witness on the truth that trackbacks really help your blog gain more traffic.
