As u can see the card was marked mastercard electronic not a mastercard. that only shows it has a specific store where you can purchase using it.

Mastercard and Mastercard Electronic are two different beasts You can’t use a Mastercard Electronic on Mastercard enabled store. Same as Visa and Visa Electron.

It was probably for your protection too. My bank issued me two cards.. one that’s for online transaction use and one that can not be used online in anyway.
