If you’re following me here since the start of this blog (March 2006), I know that you’ve noticed already that from time to time, I am featuring on this blog the emails sent to me by you and the other readers of this blog. Most of the time, I answer questions and query and sometimes, I just talk about the issue raised on your emails.

Now, I want to share you the thought sent to me by you or by one of your fellow feed-email subscribers about handling finances or dealing with debts. This is actually his response to the post I published on this blog, “Live with Debt, Die in Debt.”

Hi! I would like to thank you for that beautiful article that you’ve sent…
know what? I was thinking of my debts when I opened your your email…yeah, you’re right! one must plan to budget and learn how to allocate what we have in our hands…

As the saying goes, “habang maiksi ang kumot, matutong mamaluktot…” I guess it’s just inherent (though we hate to admit, but we must!) that people tend to lose their sense of contentment or satisfaction…I just want to share the word that my mom always says, “anak, don’t feel bad about the sad things that we’re going through, bea in your mind that you should always count your blessings and always consider each moment (whether its good or bad) as a blessing in disguise…

After reading your emaiI, I felt inspired and had an introspection that it’s only me who can be in control of the debts…

whew! I just wish that all, as in ALL Filipinos would be debt-free.

And I wish too, that we’ll learn lessons from the experiences that we have. If we’re facing some failures, don’t ever consider them as bad lucks, instead consider them as the lessons that God give us for us to correct what ever bad things we did.
