I am just curious if the machine that checks the answer sheets for the licensure examination for teacher is very credible and reliable. Mostly in our school, the students who passed the examination are those students who seldom go to school…Iwas just wondering what were their answers to the questions. Halos hindi pumapasok sa school, so saan nila kinuha ang mga answers nila….It’s been 5 years now and halos lahat nang mga nag top saacademics sa school namin ay hindi pumasa sa LET…mabuti pa yong laging absent, nagkokodigo tuwing quiz at exams pumasa pa…Kami na naging seryoso sa pag-aaral, halos takot umabsent, laging nangunguna sa pagpass ng mga projects na required, halos perfect lagi ang mga quizzes o kayay exams ay hindi pumasa…Kung titingnan ang aming mga TOR at icompare sa mga pumasa dito sa school…I am very proud to say that I deserve to pass the exam…..hindi kaya nagkakamali din ang nag tsetsek nang answer sheets? Please enlight me on this….I do hope to hear a reply on this…

    Thank you and God bless….

    Respectfully yours,

    Gina C. Tabaquero

Well, even me I can not deny that some education graduates who took the LET exam can passed it even though they did not do their part when they are still studying. But let`us not blamed the PRC or question the machine that check the answer sheet. I know it is hard to accept if you did your part and still you did not passed the exam. My only massage for those who did not passed the LET exam last August 2007 is think positive that you pass the exam this coming 2008 and have the determination at the same time keep on reading. Thank you and God Bless You All….

With due respect to you miss Gina, I understand your dismay. It might be disappointing not see your name as one of the passers for LET but It is also unfair to blame everything on PRC. You know what, excellent academic grades printed on a piece of paper like TOR’s and certificates don’t give you an assurance of passing any tests. Have you tried taking an IQ test? Upon taking the test, were you able to answer it by recalling what you have memorized for the past years? How, about recalling on how did you make your project? Of course not.. That’s the bottomline my dear. It’s actually a matter of comprehension and on how wide your knowledge is on variety of aspects. Who knows those people you mention might have better comprehension and better understanding of the course. It’s just that the are lazy when it comes to academic tests. And I strong believe on that. To tell you honestly, I never got a grade more than 2.0 because mostly I get 3.0.. I even had a lot of take 2 subjects or even take 3.. I never tried passing any projects and sometimes don’t take major exams. It took me 6 years to finish my bachelor degree, But you know what? I got a very excellent grade on LET. A stunning 85%. Don’t blame others if you happen not to get what you want and stop comparing yourself with others’ capacity, it doesn’t help. Instead compare yourself with the test, on how far can you go.. That is a piece of advice for you. I hope it doesn’t offend you. Good luck to your next test.

ahm I juat want to comment on the “comment published by Ms. Gina C. Tabaquero about the what I understand sour graping on her part that why do students who are not serious on their studies pass exams than those who are active and considered “serious” and intelligent. well, we canoot really say WHO can pass licensure examinations because its already a personal undertaking, kumbaga sariling diskarte na during exams un eh, when you are in the exam center, nawawala na iyong connection mo sa school o kung ano o sino ka sa school na iyon. its a fight between yourself and what you can do during that time. i understand why this query arises because we think its unfair on our part, right? especially when we are a “good” and “serious” student before. but nonetheles, that’s life and we all have our time on everything. maybe those students who don’t do well in school before did their best too in reviewing and prepared well for the exam. we have our own way of excelling naman eh kahit na we are just average students, in a way. well, I have undertaken two examninations in 2007 and fortunately i passed them so I know the feeling of uncertainty during that time. i can say i am an average student and have failed some subjects before but here I am, I did passed two licensing exams. i guess its not our potentials that count during that time but out determination and ouf FAITH to excel on anything we want to achieve. and like what i said, we all have time for everything….

For Matt who replied last January 5 on the comment of Ms. Gina, well, should I say thanks, though i’m not ms. gina still i got your point. I’ve learned from the message you’ve posted last time, those are words of wisdom. When I took up the exam, it’s not the things that i’ve learned but its the things that i knew and discover from my own way.

I passed the LET last october but I havent registered yet bcause of some problems which I had to attend first. Im afraid that the PRC wouldnt allow me to register any more cause its really late by this time. I dont have any idea if theres such policy in PRC to invalidate or void my qualification as a passer, being unable to register on time and attend the oath taking ceremony. I have been browsing the net, trying to find out about my quiry, but until now, I still cant find any clarification. Pls advise me if any one of you have got some ideas about my situation. thanks
