When tons of internet users realized that they can make money online by blogging, tons of articles, tips, and blogs sprouted telling us the secrets to successful blogging. Even this blog of mine publishes tons of write-ups on how to become successful in blogging.

These said to be secrets [but are not already secrets because they are already revealed] to successful blogging can be generalized into three:

1. Knowledge
2. Understanding
3. Discipline

Bloggers who wants to become successful should have these three things.

Knowledge

Blogging is writing and publishing the things you know. It can be about something that you experienced as you do your daily activities. It can be the news you heard from the radio or television, or any press release you read from websites, daily, or magazines. Some of the bloggers get their ideas from the rumors they heard, or from the result of their testing on materials they got from their source companies.

Your knowledge to anything is the most important thing you need for you to blog. If you don’t have knowledge on the subject of your blog, how can you write a blogpost, and how can you publish a write-up? You will never succeed in blogging. But if you know tons of things, then you can also write a lot of things for your blog.

Understanding

You need to take note this too: To become successful in blogging, you need to understand how blog works, how to get visitors for your blog, and how to earn money from your blog.

Remember that blogging deals not only on writing and publishing but it also need to have visitors who will read the write-ups published on the blogs. Just like what I am always saying that traffic is the blood of your blog. Without traffic, your blog is dead.

Discipline

Most of the bloggers failed because they failed to have discipline in blogging. They dream and aim to gain tons of visitors for their blogs but they failed to do the things they knew that they should do to gain tons of visitors.

For example: A blogger should write a blog-posts that standout. When I say blog-posts that standout, what I mean is a unique and quality blog-posts. Maybe the idea contained on those blog-posts is already talked by other blogs but at least the presentation of it is unique. You should not just copy what the other bloggers have written.

Another thing is: When your goal is to write 1 blogpost a day, then you should do it. Don’t ever let the day passed without writing and publishing 1 blogpost. And when your aim is to gain 1 backlink a day then work hard for it.
