Lost 2 Programmed Posts

Supposedly, my post about the problem of the WP_comment_post.PHP of this blog should be published today at 1:13PM. But no post has been published.

I thought, the time-stamp of the post was wrong that’s why the post didn’t show today at this blog. But when I checked my posts, I noticed that the posts for today and tomorrow are all gone.

What happened?

Well, I really don’t know what happened. However, there are 3 reasons that I consider:

Hacked

There’s a new version of Wordpress, right? I haven’t checked what’s with this new version. But if there’s something wrong with the security of the version that I am using now here on this blog, then maybe someone has infiltrated this blog and deleted the two posts.

Wordpress Bug

A bug in Wordpress software might be the reason why the two posts that are scheduled to be published today and tomorrow were gone. I am not of course sure if this is really the cause.

Accidentally Deleted

I can’t say that I accidentally deleted the two posts because I know, I didn’t delete anything.

Yesterday afternoon at the internet cafe near the Honda Motorworld here in Maasin City was the last time that I checked the posts and found them here.

Suggestion?

If you experience this too, please tell me what really is the reason.

    I have experienced this before.

Although these two posts were already published, but they disappeared after a few hours. My only theory was that, there was a database rollback or something.

My only suggestion is to keep a backup just in case this happens again. :)

    Happy new year!
