I was being criticized also so many times but I think the criticism that I just received recently cause me pain. I do believe that as an English teacher I must be perfect in speaking and writing English but I admit I have so many flaws and this is really a painful fact. I know I'm good compared to other Filipino English teachers but not as good as to those teachers who are very well verse in English language so I receive criticism out of this. I admit it because as you said for improvement. The struggle for me now is how to overcome this not the criticism alone but how my boss confronted me because of this negative feedback. Probably, it was easier for me to accept if she only confronted me without the presence of others but sad to say she did. The way she talked that time was as if I know nothing(though she talked to me calmly). It's very degrading and humiliating in my part as a teacher. I felt useless and about to give up when I realized that I need to move on and be a better English teacher and especially as a person. Until now I need to be strong because sometimes I still want to give up and I think of quitting in my job now. Please can you give me an advice! send it to my email! Thanks and God bless!

Sometimes the criticism you accept are a bit harsh but you learn to cope with it. And you can use it to further improve yourself.
