GM’s Advice, Follow the Terms and Policies

I am very thankful to GM Tristan of the Level-Up Philippines for reminding me to follow the terms and policies of what ever programs I participated.

On January 30, 2008, I published a post inviting you to join my battle against invaders, that is to join the Zero Online game. I mentioned on that post that I am making money by selling the in-game items in cash (real Philippine money) without considering the terms and policies governing the Zero Online Game and it’s players. The TQ policy on this says:

 (a) Purchase of Game Items. The Company may offer to sell to you on the Web Site, from time to time, virtual items that can be used in Conquer (The “Game Item”). If you select to purchase a Game Item, you agree that you have understood how the Game Item is used in the Game and are fully responsible for all the consequences related to the use or transfer of such Game Item. You agree that any out-of-game transfer of Game Item is not permitted. THE GAME ITEM YOU HAVE PURCHASED IS NOT REFUNDABLE. You also agree that the Game Items you have purchased are properties of The Company, and what you obtained through the purchase is merely the right to use such Game Items in the Game. The Company also reserves the right to not sell Game Items to certain players.

And I guess what I am doing is prohibited. And according to the policy again:

Trading of Game Items or in game money between Players on the same server is permitted. All other trading or transfers, including without limitations, trading of Account ID, Account Names, and all out-of-game transfers, are strictly prohibited.

The Company is not responsible for any losses occurred related to any permitted or prohibited trading activities. ANY AND ALL PROHIBITED CONDUCTS MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE TERMINATION OF THE ACCOUNTS INVOLVED IN SUCH TRADING.

So, I will be wasting time used in leveling-up my character if my account will be terminated.

But regarding to selling ZP’s to players within my area, I am still contacting their licensing department. And if I will be given permission to resell their ZP’s then that will be good.
