Today is the 7th working day since I picked my EON Debit card from the UnionBank - Tacloban City branch. My PayPal account is not yet verified because every time I add the EON debit card into my paypal account, PayPal system always tells me that the card has been denied and suggests that I better contact the UnionBank customer support about it. Well, I don’t bother my self calling the customer support of the UnionBank because the teller who handed me the EON Card told me that they need 10 working days to activate my EON Card.
So, I assume that my EON card is not yet activated although I can already accessed my account using the UnionBnak eBanking system. Below is the screenshot of my UnionBank cyberbanking account:
The 3,000PhP as shown above is the money I deposited that I mentioned on my post, “Got My Union Bank EON Card (VISA Electron).”
My PayPal Funds
Just like what I said earlier, my PayPal account is not yet verified. However, it already received 2 payments, both coming from the ad-broker of my blogs. One of these payment is coming from AdMob. I already told you about this on my previous post, “My PayPal to Receive My Online Income, PayPal Funds for Online Business.”
To try the system, I changed my AdMob settings so that my mobile ad income will be sent to me via PayPal. I have $88.00 income for the month of December 2007 and according to the terms of Admob, my income on December 2007 will be sent to me on the first Monday of February 2008. Let’s see if the transfer of funds from Admob to my PayPal will be successful.
So, currently my PayPal account contains the amount as shown on the screenshot below:
I just hope that by the end of February 2008, this account will be verified so that I can withdraw the funds or maybe I will use this for my other online transactions.

Hi,
You can use the mails feature on unionbank’s website to inquire on your status on your EON visa card… I ask my 4-digit Paypal Expanded Use Number and they replied. It’s more convenient and faster for me…
This feature is only for use between you and the EON customer service. You can’t send/receive mails from other mail accounts.
good luck!

Good to hear that even unverified accounts can receive payments. I have my EON but I am still unable to add it to my PayPal account.
I think the reason why you need to verify is so that you can withdraw the money and use it offline. If you don’t, I think you can receive only up to certain amount and you can use it for transactions in sites like ebay, Amazon, etc?
