Tasks as Blogger

Okay. I think, you already know that I am a blogger. I write articles and publish them into my blogs. I am the one who writes the article. I am the one who edits the article. I am also the one who publishes the article.

However, blogging doesn’t end up in publishing the articles into your blogs. You also need to promote your blog to the internet users so that your blog will find visitors, because just like what I said before, blog without visitors is dead.

Now, what I am actually telling you is, you as blogger has 4 main tasks:

1. Write articles
2. Edit articles
3. Publish articles
4. Promote blog

Make Money

There are lots of ways on how to make money from your blog. Few of these ways are:

• Displaying contextual ads like that of Google Adsense and Yahoo Publisher Network.
• Displaying content link ads serve by Kontera.
• Displaying ads served by Adbrite and the likes.
• Posting sponsored posts through PayPerPost, ReviewMe, SponsoredPosts, Blogitive and other ad-broker with similar scheme.

However, your blog should have visitors for you to earn money from the ads displayed on your blog. That is why you need to promote your blog to the internet users.

So, how to gain visitors for you blog?

There are tons of ways of gaining visitors for your blog. I mentioned few of the ways during the interview made by Sir Dennis Rito.

• SEO. Optimize your blogs for the search engines and you’ll gain traffic from the search engine results.
• PPC campaign. Advertise your blogs using the Googles Adwords and gain traffic from that ad.
• Blog Commenting. Regularly post your comment to other blogs and you’ll gain traffic from the traffic of those blogs you commented.
• Personal Network. Be friendly and tell them about your blog… for sure, your friends will visit your blog.
• Joining Writing Contest or any contest organized by bloggers.
• Be published in papers or be shown on TV programs. Do something amazing, get the attentions of paper writers and the people from TV networks and I’m sure you’ll gain popularity through them.
• Be a speaker. You can organize your own seminars or you can just be a speaker and tell them about your blog. I’m sure those who heard you will visit your blogs.
