I heard before about an SEO contest similar to the Isulong SEOPH contest that Marc Macalua had organized before, the Busby SEO Challenge. However, I wasn’t interested on it in the sense that I am not really knowledgeable on SEO and that there are lots of SEO gurus out there.

The Busby SEO challenge has already ended and they already had their winner. But there’s a second contest related to Busby SEO challenge, this time it is the Busby SEO Test.

The organizer of the Busby SEO test contest has set already the rules on how to join the contest and how to win. But the most important rule is that, the participating site, page or blog should be ranked 1 on the Google SERP when searching for “Busby SEO Test”.

This is a very challenging contest. I know it is. But I just don’t have the courage to join this “Busby SEO Test”. However, I can create a page like this just for the Busby SEO test and compete with the official participants.

The Busby SEO Test contest will end on Janauary 2009, so I still have two months to work for this page. And let’s see if I can top the SERP for the Busby SEO test contest. If it will happen that this page will top the SERP for the Busby SEO test, then I think, I already have enough knowledge on SEO and have better application.

So, this is just my way of testing how far is my SEO technique, knowledge and application. There’s nothing to lose here because I haven’t spend any cent for this Busby SEO test. The only thing that I am spending is just time optimizing this page for the Busby SEO test contest, trying to top the Google SERP for the key phrase “Busby SEO Test“.

Who knows, I could really top the SERP for the “Busby SEO Test” even if I know that lots of SEO experts are participating this Busby SEO Test contest.
