I am confused on what really is the correct name of the Filipino engineer who invented the first water-fueled car in the world. Is it Daniel Dingle or Daniel Dingel? In the article that you sent me in my email, you wrote “Dingle” which is different on what I read on TV’s caption which is “Dingel”. And is it really true that his invention is hoax?” This is what our feed subscriber asked me on his email which was his reply on the post, “”Water Powered Cars“, that he received via the feed burner’s email subscription service.

The Name

The true name of the Filipino inventor who invented the hydrogen car or water fueled car is Daniel Dingel. Thank you very much for asking me which of these: Dingle and Dingel; is the right name of the Filipino engineer.

In my previous post, “Water Powered Cars“, I wrote his name “Dingle”. That was what I actually read at Brother Macuha’s post, and I thought that the spelling was correct. I only realized that the spelling “Dingle” in Brother Macuha’s post was just part of his SEO experiments and campaigns.

Why misspelled Dingel’s name?

You see, one of the problems of the Filipino bloggers regarding their blogs is the traffic. Just like what I said before, a blog (public not private) that has no traffic at all is dead and that’s what bloggers think especially if their blogs don’t receive any traffic.

Now, one of the ways in getting traffic for their blog is by doing the SEO for their blog. SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. In the field of SEO, a blogger, a webmaster, or an SEO (Search Engine Optimizer) modify every pages of his blog or website to suit the algo of any search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN and others, so that the said pages will get the high rank on the search engine result pages.

And part of the so-called SEO is the “keyword hacking” or they called it “keyword hijacking”. Filipino bloggers are doing this always. They search for popular keywords, write a post about it, and SEO it in order to win the top position of the search engine result pages.

Other bloggers consider misspelled words, then verify these words for search popularity using the Google Trends. And if they indeed are popular, bloggers will hijack the keywords on their blog. This is what actually Brother Macuha did on his blog. He’s trying to get traffic from searches on “Water Fueled Cars” and from the misspelled name “Daniel Dingle”.

Dingel’s Water Fueled Car, a Hoax?

Yes, lot of people and scientists consider the invention of Engr. Daniel Dingel (Dingle) as hoax because according to him, he’s just using a 12V DC battery (only) in splitting the water (H2O) to hydrogen and oxygen.

Well, I am not really sure what is the real fuel that Engr Dingel uses on his car. Is it the Hydrogen or both the Hydrogen and Oxygen gases (Brown Gas) that are being splitted from the water compound.

How can we used these gases in driving our car’s engine?

Just like what you already knew, water is composed of 2 hydrogen fused with 1 oxygen. Splitting the hydrogen and oxygen from the water needs energy. And then during the process of splitting them will also release energy. The energy used to split water into hydrogen and oxygen is equal to the energy being released during the process. It’s how I understand on the natural law of energy. (In other words, since Dingel uses 12V DC battery in splitting the water, by considering the law, Dingel is actually using 12V DC batter in running his car.)

However, according to people who heard or watched the presentation of Engr. Daniel Dingel’s invention, Engr. Dingel uses hydrogen in powering his car not the energy released during the separation of hydrogen and oxygen from the water compound. In other words, it’s the hydrogen that is being used as fuel and is being used just like how we use gasoline on our cars.

First, a device will split water into hydrogen and oxygen gases. The hydrogen will then be collected and will be fed to the ICE. The hydrogen in the ICE will be ignited along with the oxygen (maybe coming from the outside or from the broken water). The force of the ignition of the hydrogen gas and oxygen gas will make the engine to work.

Is this really possible?

I think, it’s real. However, scientists who just consider the natural laws of whatsoever (energy, thermodynamics etc) without doing some experiments really don’t agree on Dingel’s work. And they might have points because those laws couldn’t be broken.

The only problem with Engr Dingel is his greed on the principles, theories, or procedures he used on his invention. I’m sorry for using the term greed. I just don’t know the right term to use to describe how he presented his car which is said to be running using water as fuel but then he didn’t want us to know how he did that. His invention might be real, legit, or working, but we really just don’t know how it was built. That’s the real reason why they consider his invention, hoax.
