There are many doctrines spreading in the world about how can we be saved from the day of judgment. Some Christians said that by simply believing Christ, one will be saved already. Other Christians said that by praying the dead, they dead will be given a chance to be saved on judgment day. And there are also other who believed that by doing the good things, they will be saved from the wrath of God.

But according to Christ himself, what should we do to be saved on Judgment day?

9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. (John 10:9, New King James Version)

Christ said that He is the door and those who will enter by him will be saved. But how can we enter Christ? Those who enter by Christ, what happened to them?

4 For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. (Romans 12:4-5, ibid)

Apostle Paul explained that those who enter Christ became members of Christ’s body? What is the body of Christ where people who enter Christ became part of it? Is it the physical body of Christ which was crucified? Let Apostle Paul answer our question:

18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. (Colossians 1:18, ibid)

The body of Christ is the Church.

In other words, it is Christ’s teaching that those who want to be saved on the judgment day, on his second coming, should enter Christ’s body. Christ body is the Church. It is not any churches but the Church of Christ.
