Members of the Social Security Service in the Philippines can use the website for checking the following:

  • Static Information
  • Actual Premiums
  • Loan Eligibility
  • Benefit Claim File
  • Loan Status
  • Premium Payments
  • Eligibility
  • Documents Filed

First, you need to register from the website. Click here. You have to complete the registration process before you can use the online inquiry system. However, you should know that getting the password in accessing the website takes time and it would be sent to your email.

SSS Inquiry through SMS

Members of the SSS who are away from the SSS offices especially those OFW and other tech-savvy members use the SSS Online Inquiry system which can be accessed at the SSS Official website (click here). The only problem of the SSS Online Inquiry system of SSS is that it’s always down. I tried accessing it by night but still I couldn’t access.

However, there is another way in inquiring the SSS. It’s by the use of your mobile phones. By just texting you can now inquire the SSS regarding your contribution, loan application, loan payment, and loan balance by just texting the SSS online inquiry system. Every text will cost you PhP2.50.

Contribution Updates:

SSS (space) CONTRI (space) SSS NUMBER (space) birth date [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 2931 (Globe) or 288 (Smart/ Talk N Text).

Status of alary loan application:

SSS (space) SLSTAT (space) SSS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 2931 (Globe) or 288 (Smart/ Talk N Text).

Salary loan payment period:

SSS (space) LPERIOD (space) SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 2931 (Globe) or 288 (Smart/ Talk N Text).

Loan balance:

SSS (space) LOANBAL (space) SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 2931 (Globe) or 288 (Smart/ Talk N Text).

This feature is available to Globe and Smart subscribers.

    Indeed. The SSS number you have is for a lifetime usage, so there’s no way you can for another SSS number except if its not for you. If you lost your first SSS # and tend to forget about it, you can still visit SSS office to get information with regards to your account. Just bring your birth certificate. ^_^

    gagamitin yata ng sss ung mga contribution ng members para ipahiram sa kurakot nga gobyerno. kaya pinapahirapan nila tayong members para di natin makuha ung contribution natin. Biruin mo kaka register ko pa lang ng sss ko blocked na kagad parang kailan lang makikita mo ung sss details mo basta bday at sss number ok na. ngaun pahirapan.

      hindi lang yan pati contribution natin hangang ngayon ginagamit din ng bangko. kasi sa akin as on this date mag 4 months na wala pa hindi nakapasok yong 2 months contribution ko.

    walang kwenta tong website ng SSS!!! hindi ko makuha yung employee static report ko..Pati sa mga branches ng SSS hindi nagbibigay kahit print-out man lang!!! Napakatamad talaga ng mga empleyado ng SSS!!!!

    paki simplify ang web site ninyo; masyadong maraming bullshit. hindi lahat ng members ng sss ay mataas ang pinagaralan na tulad ninyo. mahirap lang kami at mangmang pero wala kaming arte at bullshit na tulad ninyo. tumulong kayo sa mga members, huwag kaming pahirapan. last year ay madaling mag log on sa site ninyo; ngayon puro bullshit mga hinahanap nyo. sibakin nyo it personnel nyo; puro bobo. 90percent ng members nyo ay mababa ang pinag-aralan. simpleng log on lang ang kailangan namin, wag nyong pahirapin. kung matatalino kau dapat naisip nyo ito.

    Grabe! Maganda na sana ang online inquiry ng SSS but the problem is na-blocked yung account ko…I don’t remember na na-input ko mistakenly ang User ID ko at password but then bigla na lang na-blocked. I keep on calling their phone nos. pero wala namang sumasagot and the rest hindi naman gumagana…Hopefully everything will be fixed as soon as possible…And one more thing, yung ID ko wala pa din until now considering I’ve waited for almost 1 1/2 year already. Nag-apply kasi ako last December 2007 pa…Do I need to apply for my ID ulit and wait for a very long time?

Bakit need pa po kasi magbago kayo ng program.Mas hirap ang tao makita ngayon ang file nila.     ang hiningi pag nag sign up ka sbr no mo, pag hingin motong sbr num sa accounting ng pinagrabahohan mo ayaw ibigay at dahil sa sss office daw kunin… ano ba talaga???? kaya nga online nag i inquire ang tao eh dahil hindi accesible ang office nila malayo sa taong gusto mag inquire…. ano ba talaga???? ayw nyo lang yata ipaalam ang kalagayan o status sa member ng sss na yan na syang karapatan ng isang myembro… may tinatago ba kayo???? isang modos na naman ba ito ng taga sss para makurakot na naman ang perang pinaghirapan ng sss member nito????

    mukhang sinadya ninyong pahirapan macheck ang contributions and status of loans namen sa bagong sistema ninyo. ung dati ang bilis lng malaman. pero ngayon napakahirap na. parang kelangan ubusin mo ang isang buong araw mo para lng makalog in ka. yan ay kung suswertehin kang makalog in. ano ba ang dahilan at binago nyo at pinahirap nyo ngayon. nakakaduda tuloy at mukhang may tinatago ang SSS. lalo na at papalapit na ang eleksyon. nag umpisa lng yan ng nagpalit ang presidente ng SSS na tuta ni GMA. tsk. tsk. tsk.

    OFW din ako..at may problema sa contributions ko na dalawang buwan…hangang ngayon mag almost 4 months na, unposted parin ang contribution ko…accr’d sa Thomas Cook exchange center napadala na nila sa PNB diliman branch…so ngayon bakit hindi parin nabigay ng PNB sa SSS? tama nga ang sinabi sa akin ng aking mga kasamahan sa trabaho na gagamitin muna ng bangko ang contribution mo na almost isang taon tapos non bago nila iremit sa SSS mo. Minsan hindi na at parang wala na..kasi nong una wala pong online…so hindi mo malalaman. Ngayon mayron na at malalaman mo kung posted na o hindi. Bakit ganon ang bangko natin sa pinas at ang SSS may melagro ba sa pagitan ng dalawang establisamentong ito? Kung ako sa inyo mga kababayan ko kung may pamilya kayo sa pinas sa pinas na ninyo hulugan ang SSS ninyo at sigurado pa na ma posted yon within that day. At akoy nag papasalamat sa SEPLANA.COM kasi pag hindi ko ma open ang site ng SSS direct dito sa site niya ako makapag log in.

    ask ko lang kung pwede ba kumuha ng sss number sa kahit saang branch? ang siste kc kailangan ko na asap sss number ko pero timing naman na nasira daw system ng nearest branch dito samin, di pa sigurado kung kelan maaayos. replyan nyo naman asap.

    Halow!!!anu ba ginagawa sa taga SSS? Why my premuim contribution from 1973 to 1989 NOT RECORDED? Last December (my birthdate: December 22, 1948), I visited SSS Cagayan de Oro city to file my retirement benefit but sad to know that only my last employer premuim contribution reflected, I was advised to ask Certification of SSS contribution with SBR/OR no. from my previous employer. So last February 25, 2009 I submitted the supporting papers. I always visited to SSS cagayan de oro to follow up, until now no update. Last June 1st I was there to follow up and I was surprised cuz according to Ms. Fely Mangubat my Certification of SSS contribution which I submitted last February was forwarded to SSS-Davao city last May 26 cuz my last employer is in Davao, Ok I agree but my question is: WHY it take 3 months before forwarded to SSS Davao? if not updated within this month e PAMEDIA ko na. my sss # 06-0363821-9.
    Please reply ASAP.

    gusto ko po sana makapagparegister sa sss online inquiry kaya lang ang hirap po kc hinihingan ng SBR number nung nasa rs-6.

    pano po ako magkakaron nun, ndi p nman ako mkapaghulog kc la ako work and ndi ko p po update ung sss ko.

    check ko lang sana ung contributions ko pero it looks like ang hirap nman mgparegister.

    akala ko pag employee ka ng government trusted..! pero hindi! dito sa cebu ako, may balance akong 1968.00php, binayaran ko lahat ng balance ko para makapag loan na ako, so sad itong teller ng LAPULAPU branch ng SSS nagngangalang MIRACLE, bwisit na babae hanggang ngayon may balance pa rin ako! hindi niya na remit. ngayon ang tanong ko po sayo saan ako lalapit para mareklamo ko ito? maliit lang itong halaga pero masakit sa akin ang lokohin ako, at sabi pa ng iba galing daw ito sa City of CEBU branch inilipat dahil sa ksalbahe niya, ultimo may mgpaprint humihingi siya ng tig 20ph, noon yan, nung di pa uso ang printouts, galing niya!

    3 years ago i register for SSS online enquiry but my email address is not .com but .co.uk, I was told to request my network provider to make an exemption just for the SSS correspondence so I can get the password , but I do not know how to make this request. Is it possible to cancel my old registration and register again using a new email address? I did try this method but I get a message saying I am already registered. Please help.

    hello have agood day!why the SSS ID is not yet arrived here in hongkong i am member since 2010 then the staff says it would take only 6months then the Id will arrived now it triple the month they said until now nop one arrives here is it this really how slow our Philippine government services?or they are just ignoring it?very slow in terms of delivery of services to the member hope u will not ignore this…..what if the member will leave this country and transfer to other countries?how she can take her/his SSS ID?and how she can avail the services w/out the Id the hospitals will require IDs forthose who r memebers and how she could avail the benefits if the situation is like this very poor and slow?pls make and do actions as soon as possible…goodluck…
