First, you need to register from the website. Click here. You have to complete the registration process before you can use the online inquiry system. However, you should know that getting the password in accessing the website takes time and it would be sent to your email.
SSS Inquiry through SMS
Members of the SSS who are away from the SSS offices especially those OFW and other tech-savvy members use the SSS Online Inquiry system which can be accessed at the SSS Official website (click here). The only problem of the SSS Online Inquiry system of SSS is that it’s always down. I tried accessing it by night but still I couldn’t access.
However, there is another way in inquiring the SSS. It’s by the use of your mobile phones. By just texting you can now inquire the SSS regarding your contribution, loan application, loan payment, and loan balance by just texting the SSS online inquiry system. Every text will cost you PhP2.50.
Contribution Updates:
SSS (space) CONTRI (space) SSS NUMBER (space) birth date [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 2931 (Globe) or 288 (Smart/ Talk N Text).
Status of alary loan application:
SSS (space) SLSTAT (space) SSS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 2931 (Globe) or 288 (Smart/ Talk N Text).
Salary loan payment period:
SSS (space) LPERIOD (space) SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 2931 (Globe) or 288 (Smart/ Talk N Text).
Loan balance:
SSS (space) LOANBAL (space) SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 2931 (Globe) or 288 (Smart/ Talk N Text).
This feature is available to Globe and Smart subscribers.

Gentlemen How do I get a second Social security number (SSS Number)?
Based on my knowledge, every individual can get only one Social Security number.
Indeed. The SSS number you have is for a lifetime usage, so there’s no way you can for another SSS number except if its not for you. If you lost your first SSS # and tend to forget about it, you can still visit SSS office to get information with regards to your account. Just bring your birth certificate. ^_^

Actually, you can get it from the SSS office anywhere. I already tried it here in our city, I requested a print and they gave me.

The only problem is the site is always down. But try logging in to that site in the evening from 9:00 + (Philippine time)

But of course you need to register first and get password from them. Then once you have the logging info, log in at that site and everything ay nandoon na ready for download.

Grabe! Maganda na sana ang online inquiry ng SSS but the problem is na-blocked yung account ko…I don’t remember na na-input ko mistakenly ang User ID ko at password but then bigla na lang na-blocked. I keep on calling their phone nos. pero wala namang sumasagot and the rest hindi naman gumagana…Hopefully everything will be fixed as soon as possible…And one more thing, yung ID ko wala pa din until now considering I’ve waited for almost 1 1/2 year already. Nag-apply kasi ako last December 2007 pa…Do I need to apply for my ID ulit and wait for a very long time?

OFW din ako..at may problema sa contributions ko na dalawang buwan…hangang ngayon mag almost 4 months na, unposted parin ang contribution ko…accr’d sa Thomas Cook exchange center napadala na nila sa PNB diliman branch…so ngayon bakit hindi parin nabigay ng PNB sa SSS? tama nga ang sinabi sa akin ng aking mga kasamahan sa trabaho na gagamitin muna ng bangko ang contribution mo na almost isang taon tapos non bago nila iremit sa SSS mo. Minsan hindi na at parang wala na..kasi nong una wala pong online…so hindi mo malalaman. Ngayon mayron na at malalaman mo kung posted na o hindi. Bakit ganon ang bangko natin sa pinas at ang SSS may melagro ba sa pagitan ng dalawang establisamentong ito? Kung ako sa inyo mga kababayan ko kung may pamilya kayo sa pinas sa pinas na ninyo hulugan ang SSS ninyo at sigurado pa na ma posted yon within that day. At akoy nag papasalamat sa SEPLANA.COM kasi pag hindi ko ma open ang site ng SSS direct dito sa site niya ako makapag log in.

Last December (my birthdate: December 22, 1948), I visited SSS Cagayan de Oro city to file my retirement benefit but sad to know that only my last employer premuim contribution reflected, I was advised to ask Certification of SSS contribution with SBR/OR no. from my previous employer. So last February 25, 2009 I submitted the supporting papers. I always visited to SSS cagayan de oro to follow up, until now no update. Last June 1st I was there to follow up and I was surprised cuz according to Ms. Fely Mangubat my Certification of SSS contribution which I submitted last February was forwarded to SSS-Davao city last May 26 cuz my last employer is in Davao, Ok I agree but my question is: WHY it take 3 months before forwarded to SSS Davao? if not updated within this month e PAMEDIA ko na. my sss # 06-0363821-9.
Please reply ASAP.

gusto ko po sana makapagparegister sa sss online inquiry kaya lang ang hirap po kc hinihingan ng SBR number nung nasa rs-6.
pano po ako magkakaron nun, ndi p nman ako mkapaghulog kc la ako work and ndi ko p po update ung sss ko.

do i need to go at PRC Manila office to update my registrations last june 06, 2009 for LET? i read the announcement of sir lapena,prc chairman, that those who did not take their LET on oct. 04,2009, may take the LET on april,2010 without paying any amount anymore..coz iam one of those examinees who applied for the registrations for sept.,2009 LET and did not took the said exams because of two strong typhoons came here in our responsible area..pangasinan..and also there in manila..
