Last Saturday, July 26, 2008, was the first grand reunion of the Laplana Clan which was held in Bag-ao Beach, Malitbog, Southern Leyte. The said reunion should be attended by families that carry the name “Laplana” and those who are not using already the name “Laplana” but have “Laplana” blood flowing in their veins.
I was actually, expecting to see thousands of my relatives but only few hundreds attended the reunion. Most of the attendees were heirs of Pedro “Endong” Laplana, the father of my grandfather Lorenzo Laplana (and I am one of them).

i am so glad to come across this site. My grandfather is the late Camilo La Plana. Our roots came from Leyte also. As a matter of fact, some of my first cousins attended the said reunion. To mention a few …. Ann Charlotte Udland from Norway,Danalie Falcon, Dareen Falcon from Canada.
I wish I could have attended but I had just came back to Singapore that time. I am working in Singapore now. I graduated my degree in college in Xavier University, Cagayan de Oro City and finished my law degree in Philippine Advent Law School - a new law school.
I hope if there be next grand reunion, I can be there and meet relatives as well.

Hello! Thanks for visiting my site.
And I’m glad I met you here. Actually Dana and Dareen did not attend the grand reunion last July 2008. They just visited us here for few days and then they went to bohol before going back to Canada.
From the heirs of Lolo Camilo, only Tiyo Doly attended the reunion.
