My most recent posts that showed at the homepage of this blog before this post are: The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, Avoid Alzheimer’s, Think Too Much on Many Things, and Bloggers Eyeball August 2008. These posts are all published last August 1, 2008. However, they are not actually the most recent ones because I published several posts on this blog after the mentioned posts.

Just like what a couple of visitors of this blog who sent me email are thinking, you might as well thinking that I already stopped blogging or if not totally stopped, my interest in blogging has started to fade.

To let you know, I am still active in blogging. I occasionally do the SEO jobs of my blogs but I am regularly posting articles into this blog.

So where are the articles?

January 16, 2008 when I published an articles, “Would You Celebrate the Valentines Day?“. Of course all the subscribers of this blog received a copy of this article through the feedburner email subscription services. And a lot of them were disappointed on the content of that said article… they emailed me… and told me that I was insulting their faith as member of the Roman Catholic Church.

Because of that incident, I decided that to show some respect to this blog’s subscribers, I will stop publishing religious articles or any articles that might insult them on the homepage of this blog. But it doesn’t mean that I would stop publishing them on this blog. What I mean is, if I will publish articles similar to that mentioned earlier, I will make sure that the feed subscribers will never receive them via email or feed reader.

How did I do that?

Okay. This blog has been set to make the 20 recent articles available via feed. In other words, any articles that belongs to the 20 recent ones will be sent to the subscribers by feedburner. If I want to publish article but don’t want the feedburner to send it to my subscribers, I make sure that the date of publishing of that article will be set to 7 months ago. We are now on the month of August, and setting the article back to 7 months ago means publishing them on the month of January.

Let’s take for example my recent posts in the “Church” category. I have 3 posts that are published on the month of January 2008. These posts are: (Note: If you are not ready yet to read the articles that contradict your faith, please don’t open these articles because they might insult you) Christ is the cornerstone, Peter is the foundation, Christ is the only foundation, and No Place for Peter to be the Foundation. I wrote these articles actually only this month of August 2008. And just like what I said earlier, I published them on the month of January 2008 to avoid the sending of these articles to our feed subscribers.

How can people read your ideas if you’ll hide your articles?

I am not actually hiding my articles. They are published online and are set so that search bots or spiders can spider them and make them available on the search result pages. Besides, the person who should read this articles received copies of them via email.

So, you are publishing articles for search engines not for people?

No! These articles are readable by the people who want to read them. I am not even targeting any keywords while writing them. I am simply writing a message to the person I am talking to.

If the search bots or spider crawl these articles, it doesn’t mean that I am targeting them. I only let them crawl these articles and make them available on their search result pages so that people who are searching for the information related to the content of my articles, they can use my articles as their reference.

However, I just want to remind you that the articles published on this blog are my ideas. Any religious thoughts you found on my articles don’t represent the doctrines of the church that I affiliated with. Please read more the “ABOUT” page of this blog.

So, how can we know if you publish articles that are hidden from the feedburner?

I don’t have yet any idea how to make you known of the new articles that I published that are hidden to feedburner or feed subscribers. However, if you have an idea, just let me know by posting it below or at our comment section, or just send it to me via email.

Thank you so much.

It would be better to install Sideblogs plugin here on your blog and let your post about the religion and other stuffs that you don’t want your feed subscribers to receive be put on that area.

With that those Followers of this blogs with same as yur faith can follow the writings.

I have implemented this on my site for SEO Post that I believe will not give that much information to my Feed subscribers

Hi Sel, I suggest that you use the “advanced category excluder” plug-in. One of its features is to exclude certain categories from the homepage, feeds, archives, etc… :)
