December 5, 2008 – Two days left and it will be the dream match. Mrs Dionisia Pacquiao, the mother of Manny Pacman Pacquiao is now nervous and his now asking his son to pray doubly hard for his success on the dream match.

During the Manny Pacquiao vs Oscar De la Hoya fight which is simply called the “Dream Match”, it is expected the the Philippines would experience peace especially between the MILF and other rebel forces and the Government forces. Even those criminals will stop doing their operations just to watch the dream match.

Filipinos of course are wishing for Pacquiao to win this fight. However, earlier the have doubts whether Manny pacquiao could win since Oscar De la hoya is taller, more reach advantage, and more experienced compared to the Pacman. But recently, after the media showed how Pacman successfully remained fast on his currently weight, Filipinos are now started to believe that Pacman would win.

But who ever wins on this fight, Marco Antonio Barrera is positive that the pockets of both boxers win. Manny Pacquiao is already the Philippines richest sports man, but then this fight will be pouring in to his pocket of a minimum of $15 million.

The dream match is really the dream match of Pacquiao and De la Hoya, in the sense that in just two hours, the ticket to the fight had been sold out already. There are some Filipino opportunist who tried to tried to take advantage of the popularity of the event like: (1) a Filipino businessman tried to resell 200 tickets through ebay in high price; (2) and a politician who tried to sit at Pacquiao’s brother reserved seat and ended up embarassed as Bob Arum introduced him as Governor Takasan and Governor Taka-Jingson.
