Schedule of Registration for LET and the LET 2009
The registration for the April 5, 2009 Licensure Examination for Teachers has started already. The deadline will be on January 31, 2009.
The deadline for the September 27, 2009 LET will be on June 30, 2009.
Requirements for the LET Registration
- Original and photo/xerox copies of Transcript of Records with Special Order and Date of Graduation with “Scanned Picture” and “Remarks: for Board Examination Purposes Only“.View Res.2004-200. (Graduates of government schools and institutions/programs accredited by recognized accrediting agencies under the FAAP are exempted from SO [B]) . Graduates of New Schools/Degree/Programs must submit School Recognition and/or Permit to Operate.
- Original and photo/xerox copy of NSO-issued Birth Certificate (in NSO security paper. If NSO copy is not clear, bring a copy from local civil registrar
- Four (4) passport size colored pictures with complete name tag in white background
- Current Community Tax Certificate (Cedula)
- For Married Female, Bring original and photo/xerox copies of NSO-issued Marriage Contract in NSO security paper. If NSO copy is not very clear, bring a copy from local civil registrar)
- Other specific requirements as required by the Commission and/or the Professional Regulatory Board. You’ll learn about this at the office of PRC.
- Amount of PhP900.00 for the Registration fee. Prepare additional money for the metered enveloped and documentary stamp and other things to buy.
Important notice from the PRC:
- No application shall be accepted after the deadline.
- Payment will be forfeited if you apply even if you know you are not qualified.
- Application whose entries with respect to name, date of birth and sex differ from the entries in the birth certificate, transcript of records and other required documents will not be accepted.
- Affidavit of discrepancies will not be accepted.

A Pleasant Day! This is Andrea, I would like to ask if how much will be the fee for the registration. Is it the same as before? I have taken the test before and I failed. the registration fee is still 900 for retakers. only those who will take removal exam will pay less.

i am one of the LET sept 2008 passers. I took the exam in legazpi city but am now working here in manila since october so i wasn’t able to register and take the oath last month. I was wondering if you have any information whether i can still register here at the PRC main office? I am afraid that it might be too late and my license registration will be revoked or something. I would really appreciate any information regarding this matter, sir. Thank you very much.
Just visit the PRC office and ask them about it. Just bring with you your papers.
Don’t worry about that. You already passed the exam, and you have the result. What you need to do is to register. If you really need to attend an oath taking then you can attend on the next oath taking.

Sa pagkakaalam ko po pwede nyong pong gawin yun. Just visit the PRC with your documents and get their official words about this.

Good afternoon! kagagraduate ko lang po nung March 2008, pero di po ako nakapagtake ng exam dahil nagkaproblema yung livebirth ko sa NSO. na kapag file na po ako ng correction doon sa aming Local Civil Registrar nung pa Month of May pero hanggang sa ngayon wala parin po resulta sa correction ko halos mag isang taon na pero sa ngayon may hawak po akong petition papert saka iba pang dokumento.
Tanong ko lang po kung pwede po ba ako makapagtake ng exam sa ngayon gamit ko yong petition paper ko?
sa pagkakaalam ko po yung pwede gagamitin ay yung NSO released document lang. Kung hindi clear yung NSO document kailangan itong samahan ng R1 galing sa local registrar. So, obviously hindi tatanggapin yung ibang documento without the NSO released one

Kung open minded po kayo, hindi mo masasabing sinisiraan ng iba ang way of religion ng Roman Catholic Church. Sa pag-aaral ng ibang tao sa tunay na aral ni Cristo na pawang nakasulat sa Biblia, ay nakikita nila na ang way of Religion ng Roman Catholic Church is opposite to the doctrines of Christ.
Halimbawa:
Sa biblia ang tunay na pagsamba sa Diyos ay ang pagsamba sa Espiritu at katotohanan (Juan 4:24). Kung ikukumpara natin ito sa Katoliko, ang pagsamba ng Katoliko ay ang pagsamba sa pamamagitan ng Larawan.
Ang totoo, ipinagbabawal ng Diyos na sambahin ang larawan. Sabihin na natin na hindi sinamba ng Katoliko ang larawan kundi ang mga may-ari ng larawan nito. Subalit ang paraan ng pagsamba ng Katoliko na gamit ang larawan ay hindi pa rin sang-ayon sa tunay na pagsamba na itinuro ni Cristo.
So, normally, ang mga open-minded people ay makapagsasabi…. “Ah mali pala ang pagsamba ng mga Katoliko. So, kung hindi ito tama siguradong hindi ito sa Diyos.”
Yung mga close-minded people kasi, hindi marunong tumanggap ng mga saway. Ayaw nilang ituwid ang kanilang mga maling gawa. Gaya sila sa isang anak na kapag napapagalitan ng magulang dahil sa kaniyang maling gawa ay nagdaramdam agad at iniisip na hindi siya mahal ng kaniyang mga magulang.
alam nyo pare-parehas lang kayo! umaayon kayo sa plano ni satan na nagkakaiba ng pananaw sa relihiyon, siyempre nga naman para matagal mag spread ang Word of God sa mundo ay binubulabog nya at dinidivide ang faith ng mga christian para tumagal tagal pa sya dito sa earth! huh huh huh huh.. kabilang ba kayo sa plano ni satan? hmmmn ang pagtuunan nyo ng pansin ay magshare ng Gospel at kung paano makaakay ng kaluluwa kay JESUS, dahil magkakaroon pa kayo ng Crown from JESUS diba? ano naman ang silbi ng paninindigan kung wla ka namang nagawa para maligtas ang sarili mong kaluluwa at mga kasambahay mo diba? para sa akin kalimutan nyo na ang bangayan at pagmamarunong sa mga bagay na imposibling mangyari. Ang magandang gawin ay ipalaganap, at ipamuhay ng tapat sa Diyos ang kanyang salita which is the Bible.Pero magagawa nyo lang yan kapag anak kana ng DIYOS, how? John 3:16, John 1:12, Ephesians 2:8-9 sapat na ang mga verse na yan para maunawaan ng kaluluwa mo ang salita ng Diyos. Ano ang assurance ng kaligtasan? Biblicaly Eph 2:8-9. Logically? If you believe that your the son of God, so therefore taga langit ka! kc wala akung alm na anak ng Diyos na taga impyerno! kaya ngalang kailangang tunay ang pagsisisi mo at pagtanggap sa katutuhanan if hindi hmmmmm makikita yan sa mga gawa mo!

I was not able to file this LET Examinations coz i dont have local birth certificate, i only have NSO but when i went to the prc they didn’t allow me to file. I only brought TOR,CEDULA,NSO (requirements that you post). I’m in cebu now and my local birth certificate is in my province (mindanao). I have heard that the next LET exAm, is for the new curriculum how about the old curriculum that was not able to file this April exam?. (how about me) ……….

I mentioned above that if the NSO copy is not readable you need to bring with you the R1 from the Local Registrars office.
If they were looking for the local copy of R1 then it only means that there is a problem in your NSO copy… maybe the entries are not clear.
Regarding the “new curriculum” you are talking about… better talk to the PRC officials to hear the OFFICIAL words bout it.

I agree naman na wala talagang matalino2x sa exam sa board eh. pero ako di matalino, but still hoping na makapasa na for the last chance for the old curriculum…….. prc… maawa naman po kayo… pls… gawin niyo namang madali ang exam pls@!!!!! kawawa naman me… eh….
ganito na lang mag aaral na lang ako ng mabuti kasabay ng taimtim na dasal, gaya nga ng sinabi sa akin ng mga mahal ko sa buhay… di po kasi ako relihiyosong tao eh.. kaya rin siguro hindi pa sa akin binibigay ni lord.. but still hoping pa din naman ako na papasa na sa last curriculum…. nakakahiya naman kung di ako papasa ulit. inuumaga na ako sa pagrereview eh… tityagain ko ito til march.. bahala na… I love you all, lahat ng staff ng prc…………………………….

Give me some hints please……
there’s no secret in passing the exam. all the things that you should do to pass the exam is already revealed.
Here’s the list of the few things to do before taking the exam:
1. Pray to God, and have faith in him.
2. Study hard and focus your attention to the lessons you need to review.
3. Avoid disturbance: ie, boyfriend and other problems not related to LET Exam.
4. Practice shading test paper
Few things to do while taking the exam
1. Read carefully instructions and follow them
2. Relax and don’t get nervous
3. Fill up the bio information orderly and clean
4. Shade the test paper properly and clean

As of today, March 2..wala pa definite date ng start ng filing for LET. Most probably mga 2nd or 3rd week ng April daw according to the PRC, after ng 1st exam. So try calling up PRC na lang to verify later on, here’s their number 7362252.
Regarding the best review center. I wouldn’t know kung saan talga yung best. Though I had my review at the Philippine Normal University. It would also help kung may friend/s kang nagtake na noon. Hiram ka ng reviewers..Ako,humingi lang ako ng reviewer sa friend ko na nagtake nung 2007. Yun lang plus yung review sa PNU and guess what, ang dami daming lumabas sa exam talaga ( well at least on our case, Values Ed. and specialization ko). Madami din nagsasabi (including myself) na mas mahirap yung items sa reviewers kesa sa exam.

hi. good day! ask ko lang po. kasi i’m a graduate of elementary education major in special education last april. i graduated with a latin honor (cum laude) and according to someone i know na exempted daw sa civil service examination kapag may latin honor? want to know if that’s true.
Another thing is, i’ve already been able to apply/filed for the LET september 2009. If by any chance that i am not able to pass it, am i ‘qualified” to file for registration/licensure without examination (RA 9293) kasi ang requirements dun ung report of rating from the school i graduated saka ung certification na pasado ako sa civil service exam…. but di pa naman ako nagte-take nun (this is in connection with my first question) since i want to know first if it’s true na exempted ang may latin honor to take the civil service exam.
i’m just being skeptical about it since i’m not confident enough that i’d be able to do well on the LET. hoping someone could enlighten me. thanks in advance.
sa pagkakaalam ko po ay binibigyan ng civil service certificate ang lahat ng mga may latin honors. Ibig sabihin, maari po siyang magtake ng exam pero maari din hindi na.
Ang gagawin mo lamang po ay pumunta po kayo sa civil service office at mag-apply po kayo doon.
Pagkatapos if meron na po kayong civicil service certificate, then why not try to apply at the PRC the licensure without examination?
Yon lang po ang maisuggest ko.

By the way, I finished my subjects that can qualify me to take the LET exam way back 2006. Am I still eligible to take the LET exam? What are the requirement to take the exam?
