I love this concept that is why I value my readers and make sure that i am responding to their queries and question.

First time visitors may may give you income on clicks from your ads.

Loyal visitors may give you also income by making your site valuable (having loyal visitors add your contents through commenting and other participations)

If one is in it for the money – he had better teach himself SEO and other tricks of the trade fast. Because gaining readership takes time. What is the usual time frame for a blog to really gain traction and decent amount of search engine traffic? I bet it’s long.

If making money is the real motivation, and the fruits of your labor is taking its own sweet time to favor your blog let me ask our fellow bloggers then, what will you sustain you? What will make retain your passion for blogging when it’s not paying enough?

It’s a dangerous path to pin hopes on making money online. It’s so hard to place your happiness at the hands of forces beyond your control. The blogosphere have been littered with corpses of blogs who have dreamed big and failed big. Only a few are gritty enough and lucky enough to have made it.

Perhaps a saner approach for a blogger will be to fuse your passion for blogging for blogging sake with a determined study of SEO and what works so he will have both loyal readers as well as respectable search engine traffic.

Although I also believe that first time visitors and followers are equally important, but that’s what I am trying to convey. Based on my experience, I have seen a lot of bloggers who focus on being the next Darren Rowse, the very popular blogger. But only a few think that he is also an Internet marketer, which is the real reason why is making good money.

For me, a blogger should make the most of every visitor regardless on he will go back or not. But of course, his post should always be useful and original. If he’s selling a product, that product should solve the problems of his visitors or readers. These days, I noticed that bloggers prefer being more sociable than being a money maker. By doing this, they forget that blogging for money is venturing into a business in which customers are the best friends.
