How to Make Money Online with ClickBank?

Finally, we, Filipinos residing here in the Philippines, can now start making money online through the ClickBank.

I already had tried before signing-up an account from the ClickBank but at that time, Philippines was not yet supported by the program.

After learning that the ClickBank has opened its program for marketers residing here in the Philippines, I immediately registered and started testing ways on how to effectively promote ClickBank Products.

What is ClickBank?

ClickBank is the best venue for the Vendors and Affiliates to make money online. Vendors can sell products through the ClickBank, while Affiliates will promote the products of the vendors connected with the ClickBank.

On the other hand, ClickBank will track all the events happening from the promotional activities of the Affiliates up to the selling of the products at the vendors’ end. It also handles the collection of money for every purchases made and then the Affiliates will be paid for the commission in every products sold through their promotion.

How to Make Money from Clickbank?

Just like what I mentioned above, there are two ways on how to make money online through ClickBank:

  1. As Vendor. If you have digital products like ebook, etc., just sign-up an account as Vendor. Then sell your product through ClickBank. But of course you need to create a good landing page then link to the order form at ClickBank… and then leave the product promotion to the thousands of the ClickBank Affiliates. Sign-up an account here.
  2. As Affiliates. The Affiliates are the ones who promote the ClickBank products. And once buyer will buy the product through your referral, you’ll be paid commissions. Sign-up an account here.

How to Promote ClickBank Products?

I am currently in the testing phase of a certain way of promoting products. But I already have ideas on how to promote them, like:

  1. Article Marketing. You write articles that are related to the products you want to promote. Then on the signature or About The Author area of the article, include a valid Affiliate Link to the product you are promoting. Then submit your articles to the Articles Websites like ezinearticles.com, articlecity.com, etc..
  2. Adword PPC Ad Campaign. Use the Google Adword program. Create PPC Ad campaign of the products you want to promote. Just make sure that the target URL is the valid Affiliate link so that you’ll be paid for the commission of the successful purchases of the product through your referral.
  3. Blogging. Create a blog with a niche related to the product you want to promote. If you already have your own blog, you can just write a blogpost or article about a topic related to the product you are promoting, then establish properly the ClickBank Affiliate Link within the articles. You can also promote the product by simply displaying banner or text ads on your blog.
  4. Blogs and Websites Advertisement. Some ClickBank Affiliates buy space from blogs or websites and display the banner or text ads on that space.

I know, that there are lots of ways on how to promote ClickBank products so that you’ll earn money from them. You might know some of it that I didn’t mentioned above. Please share them to us.

    Most of the so-called gurus earn a lot of money from ClickBank by using PPC advertising (preferably Adwords). It’s fast and very effective if you know how to create a catchy ad campaign and an impressive landing page.

    My tip is… whether you’ll use SEO or PPC, try not to direct the visitors to the actual sales page. Instead, make a pre-sell page. One of the best way to do this is (of course) through blogging.

    A pre-sell page will basically covers the pros and cons of a certain digi-product. In short – a product review. Try to purchase the product first and you should read or use it in order to know if it’s worth to recommend to other people.
    It’s much better to do it this way so that a potential buyer will know firsthand that they’ll be encountering a worthy product by seeing your personal review or experience with the product itself.

    Using a pre-sell page may convert to a higher earnings of an affiliate or a vendor. That of course depends on the pre-sell page. Try your best to make it as neat and attractive as possible. Don’t put annoying ads around the pre-sell page (pop-ups, adsense, etc.). And make the best and honest review of the product (much better if you’ll include visual proofs such as pictures and videos showing that the product works).

    If you think you’ve created a rocking pre-sell page, you can do SEO if you want free targeted traffic by targeting strong keywords such as:

    [Product Name = e.g. SEO Elite]
    seo elite review
    review of seo elite
    review of seo elite software
    seo elite scam (this is just a catch but the visitor will know it isn’t when they’ve landed on your pre-sell page)

    * If you’ll put the word scam on a certain keyword, make sure to change the meta description to (example) “Is SEO Elite a scam? See my personal and honest review of the product.”
    Or something like that… just be creative in order to catch the attention of the keyword searcher.

    You can also use these keywords in PPC advertising.

      Just this late March 2009 lang idinagdag ang pinas sa supported countries. Pero sa pagkakaalam ko dati supported ang pinas then time came na tinanggal ang pinas sa mga supported countries, then ngayon okay na uli ang pinas.

      Adsense and Clickbank is of course okay dahil magkaiba naman sila. In clickbank kasi, it’s more on affiliate marketing. While adsense is just contextual ads.

    This is good news for us Pinoys. Now we have more options to make money online with affiliate marketing.

    Well, the only problem is how to do it although Nerd has already laid-out some valuable tips. The part wherein you try to purchase the product first could be daunting to most starters like us since we don’t have yet the resources to buy especially if the product cost around a hundred bucks.

      Well, your thought really happened before. But now that Clickbank added Philippines to the countries they are supporting, it only means that Philippine market is now good for the Clickbank product.

    i used both Clickbank and adsense on my websites and i would have to say that i earn more on Clickbank than adsense. as long as you have good US and UK traffic, you would earn more on Clickbank.

    I’ve previously running Adsense on my Online and LAN gaming blogbut i was banned(don’t know the exact reason). So, i tried Adbrite and Bidvertiser. What do you think about this two?

    By the way, how many unique visitors you should have in order to start earning money?
    Honestly, i’m still in the experimental stage on my blog. I hope i can find my place in this online money making world.

    I’d tried clickbank for more than a month, but there’s no sale yet.. maybe because I don’t have that traffic, or I’m on the wrong way?

    and also, some says that you can make money with clickbank if you have a huge list of subscribers… :)

    Finally! I remember in 2006 when I first started promoting clickbank products, the main problem was I could not sign up because they did not have Philippines listed in the countries that could register. This is good, especially for marketers in the Philippines.. you earn in dollars and spend in pesos, a great way to augment a salary (you know how salaries are in the Philippines, they don’t amount to much), or be a main source of income.

    Allow me to add some more traffic strategies, to the four you mentioned.

    1. Email Marketing/Mailing list marketing

    This is by far the best source of affiliate income especially if you have been able to put together a list of targeted and interactive prospects. A mailing list is an asset you can make money from over and over again.

    2. CPV ads ALA Contextual Advertising

    This allows your ad to be displayed to people who belong to a network (they either downloaded free software or installed it on their computer), and you target your ads at keywords or uRLs.. when a person searches a search engine for certain keywords, your ad will appear either as a pop up box, interstitial or as a new browser window (depends on the network)…. at the same time, if someone types certain URLs in their browser that you are targeting, your ad will also get triggered.

    3. Facebook ads

    I have been using FB to test different types of offers and products, and so far, I found facebook to be effective when it comes to personal related products… you can pay per click or per impressions (CPM), but the clicks are very cheap.

    4. Facebook Fanpage marketing

    Fanpages on facebook are very popular.. you create a fanpage that revolves a certain interest or topic and build up the community, get a lot of people to like the fan page and you can reach out to them thru the wall posts or thru the broadcast message feature.

I want to figure out how to earn more with affiliate marketing because i cannot monetize my blog with Google adsense.     Yes, clickbank is a really a good source of affiliate marketing money. The only problem is a lot of people are doing it. Selling the same product all over the internet make it hard to get just one sale. But yeah, it depends how we do it. I put different clickbank hop links on my blog Inspired Net Partner and I’m still optimistic to make that first sale…Mabuhay ang mga Pinoy Internet Marketers!

    If you think that you don’t have the technical skills to deal with ClickBank and links and a blog and a website, then think again. All of these are now very easy to use, and no matter how much experience you have on the internet, you should be able to cut and paste a link into your blog or website.
