I already talked about Smart Bro in my article “Smart Bro, Wireless Internet“. And based on its characteristic, the only way to make downloading faster using the Smart Bro is by following the steps below:
For Canopy Wireless Smart Bro:
- Make sure that your Canopy antenna is facing to the canopy antenna fixed at the Smart celsite. However, the canopy antenna at the celsite should be facing to your canopy antenna too for it to work.
- Make sure that nothing is blocking your canopy antenna and the canopy antenna at the celsite. Their communication should be cleared from disturbances.
- Make sure that your computer has no trojan horse, worm, virus or any other malicious programs.
For USB Smart Bro:
- Make sure that 3G signal is available in your area. If not, you’ll be using the GPRS which is very slow.
- Make sure that your computer has no malicious program installed.

smartbro is not that fast.. nag apply ako sa Globe broadband.. lagi namang offline.. haaayy.. USB doggle naman, no 3G coverage in this part sa bulacan.. tsk tsk…

If you are using Canopy SmartBro, o yung merong antenna na inilalagay sa bubong ng bahay niyo, upang bumilis ito, kailangan walang nakaharang between sa antenna mo at antenna na nasa celsite. Kaso, hindi lahat ng celsite ng Smart ay meron Smart Bro antenna. So, kung napakabagal ng internet mo kahit nasa harap mo na ang celsite, there is a possibility na walang Smart bro antenna ang celsite na yan. O kung meron man, napakarami ng subscribers sa area mo.
However, if you are using USB Smart Bro, upang mapabilis ang internet connection mo, dapat may 3g coverage dyan sa area mo dahil kung wala GPRS lang ang magagamit mo at sobrang bagal.
