Today, July 1, 2009, Richard Gomez, the host of the “Family Feud” TV game show of the GMA7, visited Willy Revillame at his program Wowowee!

I wonder what’s the real motive of Richard Gomez but I sensed few things:

  1. Richard Gomez will run for an office in 2010 election. It might be a local office in Ormoc or any National offices.
  2. Richard Gomez just wanted to promote his movie along with Senator Jinggoy Estrada.
  3. Richard Gomez wanted to return to the ABS-CBN.

Wapakman, Pacquiao’s Future Movie

GMA news reported that Manny Pacquiao is set to begin filming his upcoming movie, “Wapakman”.

Along with Manny Pacquiao who will the play the role as a hero , WWE Superstar Batista will also play the villain. Nicole Szcherinzger of the Pussycat Dolls is also one of the main cast of the “Wapakman” movie.

But I wonder if this movie will become box office even if Batista and Nicole is part of it. We all know that Pacman’s previous movies never became hit.

Paracetamol, Damages your Liver

Acetaminophen or Paracetamol is a widely used over-the-counter pain reliever and antipyretic which is used to reduce fever, headaches and other body pain. It is also the main ingredients of could and flu medicines. And the most popular brand of it in the US is Tylenol.

Yesterday, June 30, the FDA panel recommended the ban of the Vicodin and Percocet, the popular pain killer in the US. These two prescription pain killer contains Acetaminophen combined with opiate narcotic, that can cause injury to the patients liver.

The acetaminophen can already cause cause problem with the liver but the combination with the opiate narcotic is more harmful. And it was also noted that the patients needed more dosage of the combination narcotic as time goes by to feel the same effect.

Sarah Geronimo, Dead?

Text messages were sent telling everyone that Sarah Geronimo is dead by car accident. Then another text messages said Sarah died as she sleep.

However, Sarah’s manager cleared the issue up and told reporters that Sarah is alive and she just had a concert in Dagupan.

Finally, Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine won the temporary legal custody of the 3 children of Michael and control of his estate.

It was also reported that a document believed to be drafted by Michael himself on 2002 clearly states that his estate will be divided into his 3 children and his mother.

The infolinks has launched a contest of which the grand winner will win $5,000. The contest is called “The Infolinks Challenge – Video Contest” and it officially started last June 22, 2009 and will end on July 31, 2009.

What you need to do is to create a funny video on how to make money online. Watch the first infolinks video below for you to learn few ideas on what to film:

Gyakuten Kenji for Nintendo DS

A detective adventure game released for the Nintendo DS, Capcom’s Gyakuten Kenji is the first spin-off title of the seminal Gyakuten Saiban series, which is so popular it spawned a manga adaptation and a stage musical. Gyakuten Kenji deviates from the established formula, which has the player control the defense attorney in a series of exciting courtroom battles. In this game, however, the investigation part takes center stage. The player is put in the shoes of prosecutor Mitsurugi Reiji from the original games, and must interact with the people and objects from the crime scenes, collect evidence, and confront the suspects in order to solve the cases.

Airbus Crashes in Indian Ocean

Another Airbus plan crashes in Indian Ocean. The Airbus 310 is operated by Yemeni Airliner carried 150 people with it went down the Indian Ocean near Comolos Archipelago.

The exact location was not yet noon some official told reporter that it’s probably few kilometers away from the airport in the capital of Moroni.

This incident is already the 4th since January 2009. On February 8 a passenger plane crashed into a river in the Brazilian state of Amazonas, killing 24 people, most of whom were from the same family. Another one in February 12 which crashed into a house in Buffalo, New York, killing all 49 people on board and one person on the ground. And the third one happened only this June 1, 2009 of which 228 people on board where believed to be all dead.

Vicki Belo, Harassed by the NBI?

Three agents of the National Bureau of Investigation went to Vicki Belo’s residence and insisted that the Belo’s residence should be searched without warrant.

The security guards, however, of the Belo residence prevented the agents to go inside the house and even refused to hand them over the gate’s security guard’s logbook.

Belo’s camp accused the NBI of violating one’s privacy and failure to observe the proper procedure.

Bernard Madoff Sentenced to 150 Years

Mr. Bernard L. Madoff, a financier who ran a Ponzi scheme scam for decades and defrauded investors out of billions of dollars has been sentenced through Judge Denny Chin to 150 years in jail.

“I’m responsible for a great deal of suffering and pain, I understand that I live in a tormented state now, knowing all of the pain and suffering that I’ve created. I’ve left a legacy of shame, as some of my victims have pointed out, to my family and my grandchildren.” The 71-year-old Madoff told the court.
