For those who are asking information regarding the oath taking of the October 2009 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) passers (new teachers), just read the introduction of the LET result released this November 15, 2009.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 8,045 elementary teachers out of 43,086 examinees (18.67%), 26 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates out of 146 examinees (17.81%) and 10,792 secondary teachers out of 38,339 examinees (28.15%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given by the Board for Professional Teachers on October 4, 2009 in 23 testing centers all over the Philippines. The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Reynaldo T. Peña and Dr. Faith M. Bachiller, Members.
The results of examination with respect to two thousand eight hundred sixteen (2,816) examinees were withheld as per Board Resolution Nos. 34 & 35 (A) dated October 30, 2009, No. 38 dated November 5, 2009 and Nos. 42 & 44 dated November 13, 2009, Series of 2009.
R.A. No. 7836 known as the “Philippine Teachers Professionalization Act of 1994†States: “Every registrant shall be required to take his professional oath before practicing as a professional teacher†(Sec. 18). Mass oath taking for the LET passers are organized by the Board.
Oath taking tickets are available at the Office of Professional Teachers, 3rd Floor, PRC Annex Building for NCR and Region IV passers starting November 18, 2009 (Wednesday) and at the PRC regional offices for the passers from the other regions.
REPORTS OF RATING will be distributed to successful examinees on the day of the oath taking ceremonies, except for N.C.R. and Region IV.
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced later. The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following: 1) duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal; 2) latest Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); 3) 1 piece 1†x 1†picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 4) 2 pieces 2†x 2†picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 5) metered documentary stamp for the Oath Form; and 6) the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2009-2012. Successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

,.,my concern is about the oath taking ceremony, i jst want to ask if i can attend the oath taking ceremony in other venue? like in my case, i took the exam in Zamboanga City, but my problem is, im out of Zamboanga right now, i am currently in cebu, so can i have my oath taking here in cebu instead,anyway the schedule is jst the same? or i really have to go back to zamboanga jst to attend the oath taking ceremony?

Other said that you can attend the auth ceremony only where you took the exam. but it’s not yet official. We still need to verify it.

hello there, i took my exam in baguio city and luckily i made to passed it. my concern is that i and my colleagues decided to go in baguio on december 8, 2009 to file for the said opath taking,. is it possibble? this is for us to save money for our fare going there. thanks a lot.

i just called at PRC CDO they said that the requirements are cedula, valid id and picture that stated above the rest will be provided by them the PRC itself..

hello! galing ako sa prc kanina.. 250 ang ticket, kahit ilan pde mong bilin.. ang msakit lng kahit ung let passer need dn bumili ng ticket,
tapos about sa requirements, separate un sa pagbili ng ticket pero since nandun kana din why not ausin mo na rin un dba..
go directly to 3rd floor wala nman pong pila.. alam mo nman ang pinoy pag mlapit na deadline dun na magsuslputan un.. haha
grabe naman, tgal pa sweldo ko mahal ng ticket ^^

I have passed the LET exam for secondary…I had taken my exam at Ozamis City, Itanung ko lang kung san ako maka file for the oath taking, is it in Ozamis or PRC CDO?

my classmate went to prc-iloilo to verify it & she said that the oath taking will be on Dec. 22 at grand hotel. Tickets will be available on Dec. 14. Still we were checking it on prc from time to time. thanks…..

sana namn i can still buy ticket on the oath taking day this december 20′ 2009. mahal ng ticket plus may fair pa in going there. also have work mahirap naman if magabsent ako para makapunta sa venue to buy ticket magtravel pa ako and then still have to travel back and forth on the oath taking day.

I was disappointed with the Region XI Oath taking ceremonies of Professional teachers. I just felt the same as most of the attendees at UM Matina Gymnasium. Where is the solemnity of the program as what they claim it is? It isn’t an ordinary program after all and yet it was treated as one. A song number with copy, Hip-Hop dance number from high school, these are just a few parts of the program where most guest reacted. it was expected by the attendees that it would be a date to remember, a date that they would feel the depth of the profession so to have intrinsic motivation for an efficient service. Because of the experience, otherwise happened; a big question of the quality , disappointment and disgusted, yes it still a date to remember but the memories are full of questions of regarding efficiency. Did we realize that what had transpired in the ceremonies will reflect the office and the one who leads…. Hope this would be a challenge to all “teachers” who most respected by the neophytes in the academe.
