Question:

My father died 3 days ago, and his ramains were burried yesterday. But last night, we sensed something… we smell candle…. It was really strange. My mother told us that it was the soul of our father. He visited us and possibly stayed with us today.

Is it true that he can still haunt our house? What is your idea about it?

Answer:

No body see the soul of the dead man returns home and probably stayed with the loveones at home. The story that tells us that the soul of the dead haunt their house or visited loveones that are far.. what ever… are just a plane story and there’s no proof to prove that the soul of the dead really returns home.

So, because of this, I will just give you the truth recorded in the Bible.

But do you believe on what have been written on the Bible? Well, if you’re Christian, then I think, you need to believe the Bible.

Let’s ask the Bible: Does the dead man returns to his house?

Bible Answers:

9 As the cloud disappears and vanishes away,
So he who goes down to the grave does not come up.
10 He shall never return to his house,
Nor shall his place know him anymore.

(Job 7:10, New King James Version)

So, the Bible says that those who goes down to the grave or those who died, shall never return to his house.

Let’s ask the Bible: But why is it that when a man dies, he could never return home again?

The Bible Answers:

4 His spirit departs, he returns to his earth;
In that very day his plans perish.

(Psalms 146:4, New King James Version)

Let’s Ask the Bible: If a man dies his plans perish in that very day, does it mean the dead man knows nothing at all?

The Bible Answers:

5 For the living know that they will die;
But the dead know nothing,
And they have no more reward,
For the memory of them is forgotten.

6 Also their love, their hatred, and their envy have now perished;
Nevermore will they have a share
In anything done under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 9:5-6, New King James Version

Therefore, you have nothing to be afraid of about the soul of your father to come back again at your house. Remember that dead man knows nothing at all.
