Is Paypal Wishlist Legit, Not a Scam?

Question:

A friend of mine in Facebook told me to open a Paypal Wishlist account to earn money by simply displaying my wishlist at my Facebook or by referring people to participate in the Paypal Wishlist program. However, I am afraid that it’s just a piece of scam like those other make money online websites. Is it really a legit program?

Answer:

Paypal Wishlist is actually a promo of Paypal. The targeted participants of this Wishlist promo are those users coming from India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore or Vietnam. Although anyone from other countries not mentioned here can use or participate the Paypal Wishlist but only those coming from the mentioned countries are eligible for the cash back.

So since, it’s a legit Paypal promo, then it’s of course a legit make money online program. When I say “legit” what I mean is that it’s in accordance to the law of any countries and that you’ll really be paid the amount you earned.

If so, then how can we earn money from this?

Okay! Follow the steps below:

  1. First, you need to have your own Paypal account. Of course you can directly go to the Wishlist website before creating the Paypal account. But I think, it would be better if you create it first by clicking here so that I will have a chance to earn Paypal (not from wishlist) referral too. If you’re generous enough to me, then you can start registering for a Paypal account here (click here). But if you already have your own Paypal account, then just do the 2nd step.
  2. Then sign up for Paypal Wishlist (Click here). If you already have your own Facebook account, then just use your own username and password in logging in. But if you don’t have your Facebook account, just click the “Sign Up” button athe upper left fo the page and fill all the required field with correct info.
  3. Then edit your own Paypal Wishlist, and share it to your Facebook wall or invite all your friends at Facebook. You’ll earn $1 each for every friends who will use Paypal wishlist through your referral.
  4. And if you your own website or blog, you can also write a blogpost about it and let your visitors click on the link that contains your referral link just like mine: http://apps.facebook.com/paypalwishlist/?ppref=626431533&ref=mf

Take note that the promo is up to December 31, 2009 only. You only have few days to invite your friends and let them use the Paypal Wishlist.

And don’t forget to read the Terms and Condition.

i re-read the T&C again, but cant find this :
“However, you need to understand that you’ll only earn money if you’ll reach the maximum referral income which is $100. And if you’ll get more referrals you’ll only receive a cash back of $100″

i know that the maximum is $100 but didnt know that you have to reach that amt before you can be paid. i only know that you will not be paid for those who created wishlists but do not have paypal account.
can you please confirm the above? baka sayang lang effort ko e :-) Thanks!

i’m sorry for the confusion. I reread the terms and conditions and it says:

In order for us to pay you the amount you earned pursuant to this Promotion, you will need to provide us with your PayPal email address via the PayPal WishList.

In other words, we will be paid of the amount we earned.

For me, it’s not a scam. Because:
    - It’s from PayPal company. If you don’t believe it, let’s go to login your PayPal and look at the right of the page. There are PayPal Wishlist.
    - If PayPal Wishlist is a scam. PayPal company will be bankrupt (That mean users on PayPal will not come back to Paypal) and the Alexa ranking will be down.

But for you, it’s a scam. Because:
    - There are so many website say the PayPal Wishlist is a scam.
    - They think a big money promotion would be scam.

    Well, that’s my opinion. Thanks!
