   I tried verifying my PayPal account with my BDO debit account card with a MasterCard logo on it (not Electronics or Electron). But it was not accepted by PayPal.

   I called BDO and they say they don’t accept such kind of transactions because they are not affiliated with PayPal. So I don’t think it is safe to say that all cards with MasterCard logo can be used to verify your PayPal account.

   By the way, I used EON Card from Union Bank to verify my PayPal account.

     yes it’s true that not all debit card with MasterCard logo can be used to verify Paypal, it depends on the terms imposed by the debit card supplier.

     However, all Credit Cards with MasterCard logo can be used in verifying Paypal.

     Isn’t it that the old smart money card has “MasterCard Electronic” logo on it?The new one has the logo of “MasterCard” but “Electronic use only” is written below. So is the new one still a MasterCard Electronic? The card number starts with 5299 though. Can I use it to verify my Paypal?

   Who cares about verifying, people want to know if they can buy things online using paypal + smartmoney.

   anybody can tell me on how to unlock smartmoney card? I have smartmoney card with electronic and mastercard logo. i want to verify my paypal, but i was told that my account is locked, so how could I unlock it?

   paypal unverified using : smart money card, payoneer debit card, and bdo debit card, and allied bank debit card all with mastercard logo weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (

   your account can be verified with your smart money mastercard as long as the card number starts with a 5299

   Yes, you can use Smartmoney to VERIFY your Paypal account. I was able to do so. But you can NOT WITHDRAW your Paypal funds with it. You need a Union Bank Eon card to do so.
