Question: How can I Hack the Smart Bro Prepaid Internet Connection?

Answer:

I am actually confused what you really mean. Are you asking for the information on how to speed up your prepaid Smart Bro, or you really want to gain access from the Smart Bro internet without paying the Smart Bro prepaid fees?

Anyway, if you want to speed up your Smart Bro connection, please read my blogpost, “How to speed Up SmartBro?”

Then, if you want to gain access to the Smart Bro USB internet connection even if you don’t have credit or load, just follow the intructions below:

    When you try to browse the internet you’ll be redirected to the SmartBro Portal right?
    1. Run the NETSCAN .
    2. Go to Options Menu then click on Program Options of NETSCAN.. shortcut ctrl-o.
    3. Click Additional tab then check the Resolve MAC Addresses. click OK.
    4. On the IP Range enter 192.168.100.1 TO 192.168.224.254 then click Start Scanning
    5. It will display all the live IP addresses.
    6. Run the MAC Address Changer.
    7. Select any live IP Address that was detected by NETSCAN.
    8. Use the MAC Address Changer to change your MAC address using the one you selected in NETSCAN.
    9. Change your ip address using the corresponding IP address of the MAC address you selected in NETSCAN.
    10. Now disable your network adapter then enable it back.
    11. Try to browse the internet.

    I do think that it’s not rightful for anyone to hack ISP way to make business. Whether u like it or not its called “stealing”. The service is not free for crying out loud. You guys do not make base stations, they do. They also spend some bucks to make it possible to deliver it to ur homes..they pay taxes do u? They also pay engineers and contractors for this. You guys are either those people who can’t afford to have a decent connection or just totally perv to try to impress everybody that u can..

    This is not a bias opinion. This is a reality which most of the Filipino people complains about getting a poor service end up unsatisfied and eventually would do any possibility to get everything free at their disposal.

      The people or company you are talking about are the ones that charges subscriber not one but trice the fees. maybe you’re one of them “kaya ka siguro uma-angal”.

      Imagine paying 1 peso for just a short text message or per minute call charging, mayaman na mga yan.

      pangalwa hindi kasalnan namin kung mkaconnect kami ng free internet dahil sa load p lang sa cp namin laki ng ng nakurakot ng mga yan at sino ba ang nagbbyad ng service nila Miss Renesmee di ba yung mga subscriber lang din naman..

      ang tanong.. naibibigay ba nila s customer nila ang quality service ng network nila.?

      broadband ay bunga ng zte yan.. umpisa pa lang kurakot na.. so s plgay mo may mgandang result kya yun sa mga users…

      you better keep silence nalang dahil hindi naman sila lugi kung mkaconnect kami ng free sa internet kung iisipin mong mbuti…

      If you want to subscribe to other ISP, do a research first! ask mr. google or your friends, neighbors etc…
      Sa ibang bansa they giving a very good service for a fair price. Di katulad dito sapinas mga mukahng pera.

    1. pumunta sa START- ALL PROGRAMS – ACCESORIES – COMMUNICATIONS
    tapos click mo ang NETWORK CONNECTIONS.
    2. right click mo yung connected na LAN mo…Ethernet adapter..tapos click mo properties
    3. hanapin mo ang Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) sa General tab. piliin mo at click mo properties..
    4. lalabas ngayun ang General TAB ng tcp/ip… click mo use the following IP address
    5. ipasok mo sa blank…

    ip address: 169.254.3.3
    Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0
    click ok pag napasok mo na… tapos close ulit.

    6. mapapansin mong mapuputol ang connection mo at coconnect ulit..

    7. antayin kumonek ulit at buksan naman ang internet explorer..

    8. sa internet explorer ipasok sa address bar ang 169.254.1.1

    press enter

    9. may lalabas na CANOPY… chuba chenes…

    10. pumunta sa configuration at click ang QUALITY OF SERVICE(QOS) at gayahin ang nasa baba:
    *MIR BANDWIDTH SETTINGS*
    SUSTAINED UPLINK DATA RATE : 500
    SUSTAINED DOWNLINK DATA RATE: 500
    UPLINK BURST ALLOCATION : 1500
    DOWNLINK BURST ALLOCATION : 1500

    *CIR BANDWIDTH SETTINGS*

    LOW PRIORITY UPLINK CIR : 0
    LOW PRIORITY DOWNLINK CIR : 0
    HI PRIORITY CHANNEL : ENABLED

    [gayahin lang yan at wag mag experiment.. hehehe. kasi naexperiment ko na rin lahat ng value.. yan na ang pinaka the best!!]

    11. kapag nagaya mo na yan… click mo save changes..

    12. tapos click reboot… pag click mo ng reboot.. antayin mo lang ma disconnect ang connection mo ng dalawang beses….bale ganito:

    disconnected–connected
    disconnected–connected

    13. tapos balik ka na sa step 1,2,3,4….

    1. pumunta sa START- ALL PROGRAMS – ACCESORIES – COMMUNICATIONS
    tapos click mo ang NETWORK CONNECTIONS.
    2. right click mo yung connected na LAN mo…Ethernet adapter..tapos click mo properties
    3. hanapin mo ang Internet Protocol(TCP/IP) sa General tab. piliin mo at click mo properties..
    4. lalabas ngayun ang General TAB ng tcp/ip…

    14. click mo na ngayun OBTAIN AN IP ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY.. saka OBTAIN DNS SERVER ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY..
    click ok..tapos.. close ulit..

    15. mapapansing madidisconect ulit ang connection mo.. at coconnect ulit.. antayin lang kumonek ulit.. at pag connected na…testing mo na ulit mag download at mag internet..

    Dun sa ng comment kung ano ang napag aralan sa school di mo ba na pag aralan sa school nyo ang term na “freegate”??? Ibig sabihin my libre na connection. Tanong ka pa kung ano napag aralan.!!!

    Sa hindi pa po nakakalam, bumili ako ng sim at pag insert ko sa modem hindi nag charge ng connection fee. walang na alter na configuration, Di ba Libre un. Ibig sabihin mayroon talaga libre na connection.

      Kapag binigyan ka ng free access, bigay sayo yon. Pero kung nagnakaw ka ng access, pagnanakaw yon.

      Gaya ng halimbawa mo… bumili ka ng sim tapos nang gamitin mo hindi ka hiningan ng fees or charges, e di libre yun at bigay sayo yon. Pero kung meron kang sim, hinihingan ka naman ng fees pero dahil magaling ka sa hacking, nagkaroon ka ng free access….e ibang usapan na yan…. nakaw na yan e.

    To all those people in this post! Ang smart ang dapat magbasa ng bible verses na un. It’s also not right that they bill us every month with the fact that the connection of their smart bro cannopy is very unstable. Hindi nga ako makapaglaro ng online games dahil sa paputol putol na connection nile and several technician na ang nadispatch. Dapat sinali nila sa contract ang information na “YOU CAN ONLY USE YOUR INTERNET SERVICE 5 HOURS A DAY”. Maybe stable xa sa ibang place, pero dapat hindi sila nag install ng service sa lugar na hindi stable ang connection!Of course hindi mo malalaman na ganun sa lugar niyo hanggang na install ang service and when it’s installed and you realize na ganun ang connection your stuck to the 12 month contract so kailangan mo magtiis ng isang taon sa walang kwentang service! Now tell me kung hindi ba yan kagaguhan. SMART should be the one who’s reading those bible passages! They don’t care if bulok ang quality ng service nila all they want is the pay. AT YUNG TECH SUPPORT NIYO ITRAIN NIYO NAMAN NG MAS MABUTI. PARANG MGA WALANG ALAM.

    hahay….nabasa q lahat ng comments! ang galing! i have several problems regarding smart bro canopy in my area…and we are locked in for 2 years…huhuhuh…how sad! after ikinabit ung smart canopy, we conducted some testings regarding speed limit because they said in their office up to 2mbps but then the maximum speed is just 0.06mpbs how come? we asked this to the technicians that install here but then they said the smart bro is facing in the right position and we have to asked for the right technicians because they are just the installer…huh???? they also damaged our roof…we complained many times but nobody wants to answer this kind of problem…………and last thing is that the port 25 is blocked..hahay…and we are receiving a bill without using the network.
    we are not using it because it is also useless…i can’t work without port 25…seems that they can’t resolve this simple problem of mine…those guys(the installer of canopy) that damaged our roof seems afraid that they might also pay what damaged they put-up here in our house….this is a big BULLSHIT!! i’m really fed-up of all the connections here in the philippines…how poorrrrrrrrrrrrrrr………………….

    1. open smartbro software
    2. GOTO SETTINGS
    3. GOTO NETWORK SETTINGS
    4. CINFIG FILE
    5. CLICK ADD
    6. config file:
    config filname: INTERNET DNS
    DIAL NUMBER: *99#
    APN: INTERNET
    USE FF DNS server Address
    preferred DNS: 208.67.222.222
    alternate DNS: 208.67.220.220
    Authehtication: PAP
    7. ok
    8. highligh INTERNET DNS
    9. CLICK SET DEFAULT
    10. THEN CONNECT

    *BROWSER SETTINGS:

    *OPERA
    1. GOTO TOOLS
    2. PREFERENCES
    3. GOTO ADvanced TAB
    4. GOTO NETWORK
    5. PROXY SERVERS
    HTTP: 64.66.192.61 port 32080
    HTTPS 64.66.192.61 port 32080
    FTP: 64.66.192.61 port 32080
    GOPHER: 64.66.192.61 port 32080
    WAIS: 64.66.192.61 port 32080
    (note: IF CANNOT cannot connect change 64.66.192.61 to 64.66.192.62 same port)
    (note: IP NOT STABLE)

    *IE (internet explorer)
    1. TOOLS
    2. connection tab
    3. highlight INTERNET DNS
    4. CLICK SETTINGS
    5. CHECK Use proxy server
    6. the click ADVANCED FROM HTTP TO SOCKS USE IP UBT post above
    7. THEN OK.

    *Moziila FIREFOX
    1. Tools
    2. Option
    3. Advanced Tab
    4. network tab
    5. Settings
    6. Use Manual proxy config
    USE IP ABOVE
    7. USE PROXY FOR ALL PROTOCOLS THEN SAVE

    *INCREASE BANDWIDTH UPTO 20% (TRIED N TESTED)
    1. click Start
    2. click RUN
    3. TYPE SA BOX: gpedit.msc
    4. UNDER COMPUTER CONFIG CLICK ADMIN TEMPLATES ung plus click nio
    5. click plus sa network
    6. click QOS pascket scheduler
    7. Click LIMIT RESERVABLE BANDWITDH
    8. FROM 20 make it 0…
    reason : windows reserve your internet bandwidth or sa tagalog 80% lng ginagamit at ang 20% eh reserve lng kea pag ginawa 0 magiging 100% …
    the ok then restart..
