What Are the Official Doctrines of the Iglesia ni Cristo?

I learned from this website that you are member of the Iglesia ni Cristo. My son actually invited me to attend the doctrine classes of the Iglesia ni Cristo because he wanted me to learn what are the teachings of Christ that are not taught in the Roman Catholic Church.

So, honestly I am a Catholic. And I don’t want to convert to any other religion because I was born Catholic and I believed that Catholic and Iglesia ni Cristo are both calling for God.

Will you please tell me what are the official doctrines of the Iglesia ni Cristo? I want to know about it but I don’t want my son to know that I am doing a research.

If you really want to know the doctrines of the Iglesia ni Cristo, then why not try attending the classes on doctrines held in different locales of the Iglesia ni Cristo. I can give you some hints on what are the doctrines of the Iglesia ni Cristo but I can’t teach you the whole lessons because I am not authorized to do so.

Anyway, if you will attend a doctrine class it doesn’t mean that you are already member of the Iglesia ni Cristo. Joining the Iglesia ni Cristo is actually not easy because you need to finish first the seminar or classes on 25 doctrines or lessons. Then after that, you need to undergo 6 months of under-observation status before you’ll get the baptism.

But anyway, here some important doctrines of the Iglesia ni Cristo:

  1. There is only one God and He is the Father of Christ.
  2. Christ is the son of God but He is not God but a man. Although He is a man but he is not an ordinary man because Christ is the head of the Church, the savior, the Lord, etc.
  3. There is only one true church in these last days and it’s the Iglesia ni Cristo. The true church is important in man’s salvation because Christ will save not all the men on earth but only those inside the church because the church is the body of Christ and He is the savior of it.

Okay, I will only give these three. However, you will never understand why the Iglesia ni Cristo upheld this teaching until you attend the seminar or class on doctrines.

Just like what I said above, you better attend the seminar on doctrine for you to understand why the Iglesia ni Cristo believe in that way.
