Nonito Donaire Sr versus Nonito Donaire Jr.
Nonito Donaire Jr’s father complained that his son refused to support their struggling family.
But he refuted that he did everything he could to support his parents. The only problem is that his father was asking money to help his son to his girlfriend. He noted that during the times when he was training boxing under his father’s guidance, his mother would send money to his father for his boxing career, yet his father would just spend the money for liquor and women.
His wife added that his father mismanaged his finances. His manager, Cameron Dunkin, said that the payment for Nonito Jr’s talent is always made in checks to Nonito Jr’s father and it’s his father who will pay for his son’s part.
The Nonito Sr, answered back that it’s not true that he stole his son’s money. He also said that the checks he received were payment for him not for his son.
