New WBO Super Bantamweight, Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire

Nonito Donaire wins over Wilfredo Vazquez in a 12-round split decision and getting his new world title, WBO Super Bantamweight. The boxing bout was held on the night of Saturday February 4 at the Alamodome, San Antonio, Texas.

Donaire (28-1) admitted that he lacks the flash tonight’s fight. Although he sent Vazquez (22-2-1) into the canvass in the 9th round but he immediately stood up and fought back Donaire till the end of round 9. The final score is: 117-110 and 117-110 for Donaire, and 115-112 for Vazquez.

In the early rounds, 3rd round, Vazquez also felt the pain and the strength of Donaire when he got the left-upper cut of Donaire into his temple.
