A tourist bus ferrying 31 HRM students and 2 teachers of Marinduque State College crashed into two vehicles while negotiating the winding road in Tuba, Benguet at 10:30 PM, Thursday February 21, 2013.
6 of the passengers are confirmed dead including a teacher. The fatalities are:

- Mariel Mingi (student)
- Princess Ann Pastorside (student)
- Leopoldo Nana (standby driver)
- Carlo Pintor (tour guide)
- Marvin Malatino (student)
Passengers include two standby driver (reliever) and two tour guides. Except those who are dead, they are all injured and are brought to the Baguio General Hospital for treatment, including the driver of the truck and his assistant.

The tour bus driver, Roger Albayalde, is badly injured and will face raps that will be filed by the MSC against him and the tour organizer, St. Baraquel Travel Agency and also the driver of the container truck, Joel Bengua.
The graduating HRM class of the Marinduque State College went to Baguio for a field trip. They were on their way home when the accident happened. The driver lost control of the tourist bus while traversing a downward-winding road and slammed to the climbing container truck head on. Then, the bus hit another passenger bus which was following the truck.
The head on collision of the tourist bus and container truck was so great that it changed the direction of the container truck, made it to follow the bus downward. The face of the bus was destroyed and all the seats except those at the back most are pushed forward.
The authorities are still investigating the accident.
