There are 5,221 elementary teachers out of 33,023 examinees (15.81%), 35 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates out of 339 examinees (10.32%) and 7,690 secondary teachers out of 29,267 examinees (26.28%) who passed the recent Teachers Board Examination held last April 3, 2011 in various regions in the Philippines.

April 2010 Licensure Examination For Teachers Result

October 2009 Licensure Examination for Teachers in Palawan, Sulo and Tawi-tawi

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,184 elementary teachers out of 2,656 examinees (44.58%) and 13 Accelerated Teacher Education Program (A.T.E.P.) graduates out of 33 examinees (39.39%) passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (L.E.T) given by the Board for Professional Teachers on October 4, 2009 in 3 testing centers (Palawan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi), per Board Resolution No.01 Series of 2010. The Board for Professional Teachers is composed of Dr. Brenda B. Corpuz, Officer-In-Charge; Dr. Reynaldo T. Peña and Dr. Faith M. Bachiller, Members.

The results of examination with respect to seven (7) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

R.A. No. 7836 known as the “Philippine Teachers Professionalization Act of 1994” States: “Every registrant shall be required to take his professional oath before practicing as a professional teacher” (Sec. 18).

The requirements for the issuance of Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID) are the following: 1) duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal; 2) latest Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); 3) 1 piece 1” x 1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 4) 2 pieces 2” x 2” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 5) metered documentary stamp for the Oath Form; and 6) the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2010-2013. Successful examinees should PERSONALLY register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Section 7(m) of R.A. 8981, otherwise known as the PRC Modernization Act of 2000, states one function and responsibility of the Commission, to wit: “To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation.”

October 2009 Teachers Board Exam Schedule

Update:

The LET scheduled today September 27, 2009 has been postponed due to Typhoon Ondoy (Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao).

After the April 5, 2009 PRC LET exam, those who did not pass the exam can register again for the September 27, 2009 LET. The deadline of the registration for the examination will be on June 30, 2009.

Don’t be upset if you failed the previous exam. Be positive and take another one.

The September 2008 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET Exam) was released on October 2008. 17,816 elementary teachers out of 58,471 examinees and 18,801 secondary teachers out of 53,195examinees passed the exam.

    the last year LET exams in Tawi-Tawi testing center are full of anomaly. Dir. Tamburani and cohorts who are mostly from MSU-Tawi-Tawi teaching force masterminded the giving of leakages to the examinees who enrolled in their resective secrete review center. In the afternun following the examination day, Mr. Tamburani and team smashing the test documents and have it answered so it would be given to each examinee who has given them 50,000 money. this activity of them is an oPen-secrete in Tawi-Tawi. its only the PRC-Zamboanga which seems to be unaware. thus, i challenge the agency’s national office to validate the Proficiency of the LET Passers of taw-tawi testing center.

      wala din po dumating sa akin ng letter galing prc pero tumawag ako sa prc na ang sabi tignan na lang sa internet ung room kung saan ka mg-eexam. hindi naman daw kukunin ng proctor un ang importante tayo na mag-eeexam at ung application stub/ sobre.

    Nagtataka lang po ako kasi sa Tacloban last,last week di pa daw tumatanggap ng aplikante para sa bagog board exam sa LET sayang po ang pamasahe namin kasi ang sabi ng maga tao sa PRC ng Tacloban wala pa daw sila form. Anu ba ya tapos nakapost sa website na last October pa sayang yung pamasahe amin ng bayaw ko papuntang tacloban iba-iba naman pala ang patakaran. Pewdi po bang maaksiyuna yun kasi panu yung malalayog lugar diba?
