St. Valentine’s Day Massacre: The Untold Story of the Gangland Bloodbath That Brought Down Al Capone – During Prohibition, Chicago’s Beer Wars turned the city into a battleground, secured its reputation as the gangster capital of the world, and laid the foundation for organized crime nationwide.     The machine-gun murders of seven men on the morning of February 14, 1929, by killers dressed as cops became the gangland “crime of the century.” Or so the story went. The St. Valentine’s Day Massacre, however, is the first book-length treatment of the subject, and it challenges the commonly held assumption that Al Capone ordered the slayings to gain supremacy in the Chicago underworld. Bilek assert the deed was a case of bad timing and poor judgment by a secret crew from St. Louis known to Capone’s mostly Italian mob as the “American boys.”
    The target of the murder squad was indeed Bugs Moran, but the American boys, who were dressed as policemen and arrived in two bogus police cars, arrived at the garage where the massacre took place before Moran arrived. They didn’t know who Moran was or what he looked like, and since none of Moran’s crew would admit to being him, the counterfeit cops stupidly killed everyone, just to be sure they got him. Much of the evidence that pointed to the American boys was deftly and intentionally ignored by law-enforcement officials in Chicago. The story surfaced again briefly in 1935 with a manuscript written by the widow of one of the gunmen and with public knowledge of a lookout’s long-suppressed confession. In the end, the machine-gun bullets heard ’round the world marked the beginning of the end for Al Capone.

The books that will be featured here are the Featured Books at the Amazon Stores. One of it is the book, “Doggy Knits” which contains information on how to adorn your pets in striking fashions. I think I need to give my sister this book because for the past days, she’s making dresses for her favorite dog, making it the god of the animals at our home.

Actually, my sister loved very much our dogs and cats. She’s taking care of them as if they’re her sons and daughters. I know you saw them already through my amateur videos uploaded at Youtube.

See! These animals are very much talented. If I can only teach them how to speak and write essays, then I will teach them that. Or probably teach them how to sing.

But actually, our two dogs are the best of the dog singers in our village. Almost every night they sing their favorite songs like “Awoooooooooooooo” and “Aw Aw Aw”. I don’t understand these songs of course because I am not a dog, but I think they can pass the qualifications for the MTV to feature them, or include them to the Spellman Files, or maybe it’s good to feature them in Harlan Coben’s book, “The Wood“.

So, what should I do next with them? Maybe I can tell them stories just like what I did before. But this time, I will tell them on how to make a habitat for humanity. But willl they learn how to do it even though they’re not human but dogs?

Well, I know they’re smart enough and can handle anything that I’ll tell them. They can even play with duck and goose without hurting them just like what they did with my kittens.

Okay, I found a good book that can help them a lot in surviving any difficulties they might experience with us and it’s the “This Is Not the Life I Ordered: 50 Ways to Keep Your Head Above Water When Life Keeps Dragging You Down” book or even the tale of pale male, Christian Falls and Tradition and Rituals of Cooks can be of help to them.
