MV Rabaul Queen Sinking Disaster February 2012

The ferry, MV Rabaul Queen, sank 80 kilometers east of Lae City, Papua New Guinea second-largest city, and 16 kilometers from shore, Thursday (February 2) morning. The ferry was on its way to Kimbe Wharf in West New Britain Province en route from Rabaul and into Lae.
