Aero Caribbean ATR-72-212 Aircraft Crashed
A passenger plane ATR-72-212 of the Cuban state-owned Aero Caribbean crashed Thursday after issuing emergency at 5:42 p.m local time killing all 68 people.
The aircraft flying from Santiago de Cuba to Havana was carrying 61 passengers when it crashed in the town of Guasimal in Sancti Spiritus province, central Cuba. Twenty Eight of the passengers are foreign-nationals.
