Apple Admits iPhone Software Caused of Signal Problem
Apple finally admitted, Friday, that the problem caused by the error on signal bars was caused by the iPhone software.
Apple took four versions of iPhone before configuring the real culprit of the problem. According to the statement, the formula used in determining the signal bars that corresponds the strength of the signal is wrong.
The issue is that when the iPhone is held in a certain position, the signal bars drops three to four bars.
But according to Apple, those who experienced a huge drop in signal when held in certain position is actually in area with very low signal. The problem is that even if the strength of the signal is low or should have showed one bar of signal, iPhone showed 4 bars of signal. And then when held in certain position, the signal bars drops to one signal.
However, Apple explained that almost all smartphones experience the same. It just happened that the drop of signal bars in iPhone is much greater compared to other smartphones.
To correct problem, Apple will be releasing soon the updates for the iPhone software.
