Bb. Pilipinas-International 2009 Dies in Car Accident
Bb. Pilipinas-International 2009 Melody Gersbach along with her driver Santos Ramos and her manager Alvin Orense died on the spot after their Innova Van collided headon with the Guevarra passenger bus at Barangay Pawili in Bula, Camarines Sur late morning of Saturday.
Ms. Bersbach and companions were on their way to Naga City in the Innova van to attend a prepageant event for the Peñafrancia Festival in Naga City next month. It was reported that the Guevarra bus with its driver Wilson De los Santos overtook a motorcycle and failed to return to its lane when it collided head-on with the van. The Innova was totally wrecked.
De los Santos surrendered to authorities while the fourth victim Ronald Lita survived with serious injuries and was sent to Bicol Medical Center.
