Earthquake Shook Metro Manila

Metro  Manila was jolted by an intensity 6.1 earthquake of which the center was 27 kilometers southwest of Lubang island in Mindoro province at 1:29PM.

The Phivolcs said the quake was tectonic in origin and at 25 kilometers deep.

According to the PhilVolcs official, there was no tsunami warning issued because the quake that was felt in Metro Manila at intensity 5 was not enough to cause tsunami. It wasn’t able to cause damage.
