Google Sued by Oracle Over Java in Android
There were negotiations happened between Google and Oracle over the Java software used by Google in the development of Android phone software. But the talks between the two giant failed. And Oracle last move to defend its own right of its products is to sue Google.
But in a statement by a Google spokesman, Google accused Oracle of attacking both Google and the open-source standards through a baseless lawsuit.
About Java
Java is a popular programming language and became part of the Oracle company when Oracle bought Sun Microsystem Inc. It allows software developers write software that run in any computer system, especially in mobile phones.
Google of which its CEO Eric Schmidt formerly worked for Sun Microsystem and led the development of the Java, owns the Android software for mobile phone and give the software to phone developers for free. But according to the Oracle, Google used the Java in developing the Android.
