Nokia Pedal Driven Phone Charger, Introduced
Nokia introduced Today in Kenya the its first bicycle driven phone charger.
The charger has a 2mm charger jack and can be used to charged Nokia phones. The package includes a dynamo that will be attached to bicycle wheels. The dynamo will generate electricity that will be used to charge phone rechargeable batteries.
Nokia spokesman revealed that a cyclist needs to reach the speed of 6km/hr to start charging. The charging time depends on the battery model. But a 10 minutes of travel at 10km/hr can charge a 28 minutes of talk time or 37 hours at standby mode.
