Laplana Clan Grand Reunion May 2011

My wife and I, along with our son, Carl Justine, attended the second grand reunion of the Laplana Clan which held in Malitbog, Southern Leyte.

Actually, we attended only two of the activities of the reunion: The motorcade and the beach program.

Life Being an Unemployed Blogger

I started blogging and making money from it in 2004. But blogging at that time was just my sideline because I still have a job and then in early 2005, I started managing my own internet café.

When I lost my little café business in Quezon City on January 2006, I immediately went home here in Malitbog – Southern Leyte and made blogging my main source of income.

Southern Leyte

Southern Leyte is a province in the southern part of Region VIII or Eastern Visayas that occupies about a fourth of the entire island of Leyte. It is bordered by the province of Leyte to the north, by Surigao Strait to the east, Bohol Sea to the south, and Canigao Channel, to the west. It has 18 municipalities and 1 city of which Maasin City is the capital of the province.

Macrohon is a 4th class municipality and one of the 18 municipalities of Southern Leyte in the Philippines.

The Municipality of Macrohon has a total land area of 12,639.47 hectares. It is bounded by the Municiaplity of Maasin in the north, Municipality of Burgos in the south and the Municipality of Malitbog in the East.

A Short Vacation in San Agustin (Surigao Del Sur)

We (My wife, our Son and I) are currently here in San Agustin, Surigao del Sur for a short vacation and and at the same time we’ll be attending the 74th birthday celebration of our mother.

We left Maasin City riding the tricycle that blogging bought for us last Sunday evening and dropped by Malitbog, Southern Leyte just to check how’s the life of our aunts and uncle. Then on Monday morning, we left Malitbog, Southern Leyte. We arrived in Liloan, Southern Leyte after about 3 hours of travel.
